At 36 I buried my mom, at 39 I buried my 10yo son, a year later a sister. I've been thru so much more than that but don't want to write a novel on here. My point is, I'm still here and without God and my faith, I wouldn't be. Much love to all y'all 💜

The whole album(Chasing Ghosts) is pretty much about suicide awareness. The album itself is actually my first introduction to the band itself, and the title track for me is a timeless classic.

Songs like this and Open Letter from this same album saved my life. I may not wanna be here anymore, but those songs reminded me that it’s not just about me. I have people who depend on me and I can never do that to them. No matter how much existing hurts

I don't think you'll see this comment because how old this video is, but this song has had such a big part of my life and sense seeing your video and you're added commentary while the song plays. Whenever I am having a very hard time I come back to this video and your reaction just to listen and feel how I have felt before but cannot put the words there. Thank you, I may not be a man of god or any religion but the way you reacted and talk during the song helps and gives that added words to keep going.

Bro you just popped up in my recommended. First of all TAA is one of my top 2 favorite bands. They've got me through some really dark times during my battle with addiction. Now that I'm clean and sober I've found my way back to the Lord! Secondly you're certainly are a vessel for the Lord and you're doing great things in the name of Christ. Much respect! I'm glad I discovered your channel.

Doing suïcide is a sin in my opinion (and I am an agnostic gnost in Holland 🤡) Live with your heart and with people you love. Make your life worthful for and to yourself, make yourself and others around you proud of what you are and do 🙌🏼

tis me, i’m fine my friend, at least for the most part, just request these amity songs because amity’s lead vocalist joel has been through so much stuff as have i, so his super deep lyrics relate to me so hard, which is why amity is my all time #1 metal band, they make music that hits me deeply lol, but i appreciate you being there for me and others

@@luxidize take them in the right way and build strength from them. You got this and everyone else struggling. It gets better! Push forward, find that strength. My strength I found was to not keep fighting it and accept my path, which is doing everything I can to help my fellow Brothers and Sisters in need. Listen to Only the Strong Survive by Flaw

Nah. The pain and regret is too much. I'm done. I wouldn't wish this despair on my worst enemy. For too many years, my New Year's resolution has been, "Make it through this year, to spare my family." Didn't make that resolution this year. Long ago, I gave myself till age 30 for life to get better. I'm 30, soon to be 31. Life hurts and sucks more than ever. Life did nothing but get worse since I made that pledge. And I'm done now. I have no fight left in me. My only goal this year is to stop being a pussy and finally end it, and slip into eternal slumber. Sorry family, I tried as hard as I could for 20 years of my 30 year life to fight these feelings. But I lost that fight, long ago.

Appreciate you and words and all I can say is AMEN. I also use to love the heavy metal but I got old so my music choices have changed a bit. I know it’s not your usual but give little boy and the preacher man by Nu Breed and Jessy Howler a listen and see what you think. Love ya brother and keep up the good work. God bless

Paul said the dead know nothing and return NOT to their homes. Jesus called death sleep. When He "woke" Lazarus from death, what did Lazarus have to say about death? Nothing... Because he experienced nothing. No one who was resurrected had anything to say about death because they knew nothing. When you die you are just dead. Not a flaoty ghost watching over your loved ones.
