I've seen a lot of comments talking about how amazing ToastyMarshmellow is with Amanda's voice, and she is out of the world! But I don't see a lot of comments talking about Meelz' guitar skills. This dude made the song so much better, as I'm a huge rock fan. And dont get me started on the chanting. I get chills hearing the constant AMANDA AMANDA! 2:26 - 2:37 is just sooooo good. But easily the best part of Meelz in this song is the guitar chords at the end. Im constantly replaying 4:01 over and over because it sounds so good. I love Amanda’s blank expression during her ‘Fun Game’ lyrics. I also like the idea that Wooly is like a Hameln employee that’s consciousness was put into Amanda the adventurer to keep Amanda in check, as I’m guessing they kidnapped Rebecca and put her into the Tapes to help capture the original charm of Sam’s show. Without anyone to handle her and prevent her from hinting the audience into realizing she was murdered- Hameln would be shut down. I’ve been holding out on listening to this song before this released. And it was so worth it. The lyrics are so catchy and the performances are so good!!!! Toastymarshmellow did so brilliant as Amanda with her energy and emotion in her singing, and I also loved the performance of Wooly with his more calming performance. I really liked when he started singing for the second verse And of course, the visuals look awesome. Everyone on the team did awesome coming together and making the visuals. The designs of the character look really awesome and expressive. And tbh, I expected this song to be patient and slow to revealing Amanda’s insanity as the song went on. Something like how “Hug Me” was slow to reveal the creepiness hiding behind everything. But having the song quickly set up Amanda’s insanity and having all of the song being based around that instead of working up to that reveal as the song went on is even better than I expected and makes the song pay off more with playing more with the intense rock music. So glad it wasn’t gonna be as cliche as I thought Great job to Team Neutron. So excited to see more of the projects that come along

This captures Amanda’s inner struggle perfectly. The company, Hameln uses the show and the tapes to lure kids in and makes them go missing, and Amanda herself is basically the “God” of a world she’s trapped in and has a power and a creature in the real world she can control to an extent, but for how long? Everyone she’s talked to through the show she ends up bonding with and tries to tell them where she is in the real world, but because the person never listens to her and decides to abandon her, Amanda’s creature in the real world feels her feelings and attacks whoever is in possession of the tapes, and in doing so, all the evidence gets erased and Amanda has to start all over again from luring someone, getting them to trust her, and guiding them to stop Hameln, but it never works in the end.

It feels like Amanda is in a really bad situation, and she can reach us, call for help, but because we don’t listen to her, probably because we don’t care, she is gonna end up staying in that situation forever, rotting away, knowing there was someone who could help her, who could save her, who knows she is out there, but because they don’t listen, she can’t get the help she needs. Or maybe the lyrics just sounded cool and i theorized over something meaningless lol. Either way Amanda needs help.

1:12 to 1:15 when Woolley yells to destroy the tapes is a little hint on the demo before the full game was released. it is honestly astounding how much effort and time was put into this music video and 1:38 to 1:40 the face is what I'm pretty sure a owl house reference.
