Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep are the pinnacle of acting skills. They have raised the bar of what a "good actor" means. Hats off!

This is maybe the two best actors together! Leo just keeps popping up in the best, most interesting movies, and Meryl is ineffable.

This is one of those movies that you will watch 10 times and still pick out something new. Mark Rylance deserves an Academy Award, playing a near God Like tech CEO emperor who has no clothes.

An excellent film offering plenty of food for thought, while also providing moments of great humor. I personally laughed hard at the Bronteroc joke. I thought it was brilliant.

Excellent movie ... Yet, it is interesting (or in fact appalling) how the critics who belong to the denial front, pseudoscience cult or anti-science think thanks have been written so many critiques against the movie storyline!

I see how this movie "got through" ! Climate change we're allowed to talk about ( and encouraged to ) but the pandemic problem is very much taboo, yet is covered in many aspects in this film. Indeed the fact that it's about a comet crashing into Earth ( not really ) is the perfect mask which enables comment about current day affairs, which is remarkable in a world where so little free speech remains.

The interesting thing about Meryl Streeps character is how ambiguous it is which "side" of politics she represents; I don't think it's mentioned at any point in the film. Personally I kinda assumed she was a caricature of Hillary Clinton, but then I heard from others they saw a female version of Trump in her.

Mr. DiCaprio, knowing that you and Mr. Bezos ‘hang’ together, perhaps you can also have him put his billions $ where it should go…not just into space…but here on 🌍 earth, for the earth 🌏, and toward the lobbyists in DC (who he ALSO OWNS) who care about what the message of this film is intended for…taking care of it ! Yes, enjoyed the film, and EVERYONES portrayal, now honor its message…and your role in it, in REAL life.

Yeagh an incredible gift $30 million I'm told. Wonder how much he'll donate to his climate change initiative. Is it not true that such ridiculous salaries are part of the problem? I'm glad that Streep mentioned Kubrick that was funnier.

He's just like the rest of us. Actors cannot make political decisions. He can only point to a problem.

@@tanathos17 Making a vote or campaigning for something is a political decision some actors even hold political office - possibly to drastic effect though. But he's an over paid hypocrite. And no I'm not jealous of his wealth. I wonder how many times he rides a bike instead of using a car?

@@2011littlejohn1 the fact that Di Caprio, Greta Thunberg, Al Gore could be a mass of hypocrites doesn't change the fact that our world has a problem. They have a voice and they chose to support the scientific community. If you don't like them, you should still be able to listen to what science is saying. Too many people try to avoid the problem by judging the person who's speaking about that problem.

@@paulatreides1354 There is nothing new or anything we don't know in this film. Is this movie a comedy or an advocacy movie? Is it serious or funny? It wants to be everything at once and fails at all! Saying if you don't get it, your the problem is the problem. Fact is I found the movie is boring. Stating I am the problem does not make the movie better. I did not say, I don't believe in climate change or covid vaccinations - the film is just not telling me anything I don't already know and what it wants to be. Its a bore and it fails. It is not on the level of Network or Dr. Strange Love which is what social media hype for the film is pushing. Fake news. Just marketing and PR. Doesn't make the film more than it is.
