I make a pavlova every year but never covered it. I cook it the day before, Just leave it in oven after it has cooked with the door open. I always do mine with fruit but Maltesers banana and the caramel sauce looks really yummy. HAPPY-NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL. Xx

Bless you Leanne your pavlova looked fantastic ....however you pulled it off with the shop ones, unfortunately that is baking it really go wrong at the slightest thing. Hope you had a lovely Christmas xx

Oh Leanne I really felt for you, your homemade nest was perfect. I can only assume the air around it in the zip lock bag created moisture 🤔You pulled it out the bag with the shop bought & jazzed them up beautifully, I'm sure they went down a treat 😋 xx

Where we live and we learn now you know not to use a zipper bag in the end it looked lovely I'm sure it tasted delicious

What a shame ..your pavlova looked so good😮. If that had happened to me I'd have eaten all the maltesers and just got a shop bought dessert🥴. However I've never made a pavlova..I doubt I will bother. Hope you all had a great Christmas❤.

What a shame leanne because your meringue nest was perfect. I was thinking ooh hope that knife dosent slip when you were cutting those maltessers!! But the desserts dod look lovely, Martin saved the day by going shopping. Thats real life baking dosent always go to plan, I made a chocolate Swiss roll few years ago well was meant to be a Swiss roll, just looked a heaped mess, didn't roll up, just all collapsed!! I still whipped up the cream anyway and whacked it on. Tasted nice, looked bloody awful !! Definitely would have got chucked off the bake off !!! 😅😊
