We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.
Our Philosophy. Work, Travel, Repeat.

4:40 For all foreigners especially from western countries or if you are from a cold weather country, I will suggest if you want to travel to India come in July-Dec. (Seasons in India : Summer : Feb, March, April, May = please avoid in these months bcoz in India temp goes 35'c- 40'c +. And now with climate change we had heat waves in which temp went 45'c +. Rainy : June, July, Aug, Sept = come to India only If you are ok with rainy weather, mostly it will be cloudy, humid & wet. Winter : Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan = best for foreigners bcoz mostly you come from western countries where temp goes below 0'c in India depending on location but will be mostly between 0'c-15'c temp).

British citizens have to go through hoops to get a Visa mainly because the Indian government makes it as difficult as the UK government. The E-visa is not available to British citizens, here in Slovakia for Slovak citizens only €60 and done online. My sister had to fly from London to Belfast so she could get an appointment at the Indian mission there.. Also they only allow 3 applications per appointment so be aware of that. Also the photo requirement is not the normal passport photo but a larger one. Beware. Also antibiotics are easy to get in India, it is the biggest generic drug producer in the world.

I would like you to tell you somethings, India has many layers you guys mostly meet Indians who work on streets like those in markets, people over there are mostly towards being poor and not educated enough but they are also the ones who'd approach you. If you will notice there will be some Indians who look quite modern by their sense of fashion and they generally "won't" approach you just like ppl in west. We understand there's no difference between you and me and we are really aware of western culture. But those people on streets have no idea even tho they might be knowing a lil english but they probably won't even know a pop star. So it's just that please don't judge any other Indian inside or outside India based on your experiences on the streets. One more thing streotypes like head nodding and a particular accent don't apply on everyone either, head nodding is common in some very specific parts of south India. And almost every other state in India have a separate mother-tongue so they have different english accents. I don't think an average Indian with a good vocabulary sounds like "Apu" some words maybe but 99% it's different. Yes almost whole of north India understands Hindi/English. But in North Indians south they don't understand hindi even we use english to communicate with south Indians.

Our visa was an absolute pain to get. Almost put us off coming completely. What makes it worse is that it's because of tit for tat behaviour on behalf of the government essentially. Absolute clown show. Was worth it though 😅

I started writing a book about "visa issues" but gave up as it brought back too many bad memories - this was when I was in Romania needing a new "humanitarian visa" every 6 months. The goal posts were moved every time! Plus, I refused to pay "under-the-counter" corruption money, which made the issue harder for me! Another great video guys, you always make me laugh 😂❤

Hey Angus! The whole 'Visa' situation worldwide is really confusing & upsetting. We get asked by so many 'How' we get a visa to travel? For so many it's unachievable, purely because of their citizenship. Heartbreaking. 🖤

1.Delivery is extremely efficient in India. I get my grocery orders in less than 10 minutes. Food in less than 30 minutes. 2.I went recently so it is still cold. 8 degrees C. 3.Super cheap to buy medicine there and easy. 4. It can get crowded and busy, but no one ever pushed us or was rude to us. It was a refreshing experience.

Actually, don't get any medication unless you're taking some routine/chronic medication. You can get all non-opiod painkillers and antibiotics over the counter and are very affordable. Same goes for anti-allergy and stomach related medications too. Also, don't bother with basic Hindi, everyone understands yes, no, thank you and please. And I mean everyone.

There's traffic in India that doesn't mean there isn't or can't have emergency medical services. Ambulance reaches you in minutes in case of any accident or emergency. It's alot of ignorance to think that emergency services are poor because of traffic. Please understand that Indian medical services are one of the most reliable and economical in the WORLD. In fact medical tourism plays a significant part of Indian tourism industry.. Secondly, you should say nahi chahiye and nayi chai to say a NO
