Brother ❤️🙌🏾 If we do things to be loved by Him then it is by self righteousness and if we do things to try to obtain His Grace then it is by self rightousness but when we do these things truly it is out of our the love of our heart because we love Him because He loved us and because we had experienced His Grace and because we truly has a desire to humble ourselves because we desire not our own will to be done but His because we has truly met Him and that we have gotten our eyes opened regarding the truth and things we was once decieved by but now we are made new and we out of His Love and Mercy for us allowing us to be intimate with Him that we never and will never be worthy but we do it out of thankfulness and Love and desire to be like Him because He appeared Himself to us. @@EternalCall it is very hard on my own but our Father comforts me and leads me. As long as I do whatever He has given me power to do. And what I don't have power to do I must surrender to Him and wait on Him. He is a very present help in time of trouble. And He does above and beyond what we can ask or think. I just have hard time not reacting in flesh but I'm learning. Thank you brother. Jesus bless you and family

Transcript: Don't Make the Same Mistake Dear brothers and sisters, I want to share with you today a mistake that I did. Even as a Christian, as a born-again believer, somebody who has converted and wholeheartedly forsaken a lifestyle of deliberate sin. I want to share with you that mistake because I want you to be careful. And I'm warning you about that mistake because I had been taught that this mistake is a dangerous, slippery slope to self-righteousness. Dear brothers, when we become Christians, we have to always remember that God had mercy on us. That He has been patient with us. That we were also wicked, willful sinners. And that He has forgiven us because He is just merciful and He had mercy on us. And it is never because of our works, because of how we are today, how we behave, that we become now more deserving. It will always be by mercy. And nothing today that we do or efforts that we make, make us more desirable to God. It is exactly the opposite. It is when we always understand that we need to deny ourselves, humble ourselves. That the Lord of Glory, the King, Jesus Christ, gives us more of Himself and the Holy Spirit to teach us His ways. To teach us how to become more like Him. How to love like Him. How to have compassion like Him. How to see people around us and how to behave with them. It is always by grace and it is always by denial of self, by carrying our cross every day, that we can follow Jesus. So dear friends, we can make the mistake of trying to make efforts to make ourselves presentable to God. And we force ourselves to behave a certain way because we believe that God will appreciate us more because of our efforts. No, dear friends, we need to let go of our ego and our self and to give way to God in order to sanctify us and renew us every day. We do that always by humbling ourselves before Him. That is why it is extremely important, dear friends, to have that ongoing fellowship with Christ where we get taught by Him daily. Think of it like recharging. We need to have that time alone with God and we need to humble ourselves always before Him. Crying out to Him. Coming into His presence in order that the Holy Spirit renews our mind every day, sanctifies us and teaches us how to be truly dedicated and committed children of God. Without Jesus Christ, we can do nothing. Dear friends, I know a lot of Christians and I have met a lot of people here on KZbin. And let me tell you one thing. You can have all the doctrines right. And dear friends, you can still be a wicked person because it is not a question of having the doctrines right. It is a question of righteousness and humility. It is a question of behaving right because of the Holy Spirit in us, teaching us how to be like Jesus. I had to learn this the hard way dear friends. Because I was striving so hard for a long time to behave good. Because I thought that God would be impressed with how I am behaving. But dear friends, no. Even that is wrong. Because Jesus Christ dear friends, He wants to transform us from within. And teach us to be His children just because of our yielding to Him. I pray that this message touches your heart today. So that you understand what it truly means to be a Christian. And may God bless you.

Well brother i have to be honest. Their are certainly good things you said in this video. However i was confused by the whole of it. it sounded like you said one thing and then the opposite. @@EternalCall Well i dont know if it was confusing it could just be the way i took it in. I understand when you say that their is a fake holiness and real, meaning someone can know doctrine and even seem to be obeying GOD but inside they are not transformed. I understand that everything is by grace. I understand that GOD is not impressed with us when we do something good and that should not be why we do things, so i understand everything like that. But i dont understand is you said that we truly need to obey GOD but then you said that nothing we do has anything do do with being acceptable or right with GOD. ( im not saying that you used the word acceptable or right with GOD, its the only way i can explain ) I believe by being born again and transformed and forsaking sin does make us more pleasing to GOD, Because before we are born again we are not pleasing to GOD but after we are truly transformed and we grow and more and more separated out of the world we do become pleasing to GOD and if we fall away or go into sin then GOD is not pleased and if someone dies in their rebellion then they will go to everlasting torment ( Willful sins of the flesh and these kinds of things ). So it seemed like you were saying nothing we do has anything to do with how GOD and CHRIST view us but then you were saying we must obey GOD. Thats what i was confused about. But again brother it could just be the way i understood you and i may have understood wrong.

Hello, I didn't mean it that way. I am always careful with my choice of words because I don't want to be misunderstood. But as you probably know, English is not my native tongue, not even my second. What I mean is that after we get born again, we might do the mistake of thinking that our efforts even of obedience make us PRESENTABLE to God. And so we try to always put external pressure on ourselves to perform as if our performance is what keeps God's grace on our lives. That doesn't mean obedience has no hand in keeping us in right standing before Him but that obedience doesn't merit His grace neither. What it means is that our obedience to God has to be salvation being worked out, and that only happens when we are always humbling and denying ourselves in order that He works in and through us. We stand by faith, not by works but we have to let our faith produce the works even if these works don't make us deserving of God's grace. Hope this clears it up a bit
