I just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate you. I was a serious fisherman in my youth. Parents had a little houseboat with a bassboat attached and it was so important to my life. Sooo many hours on the water. I got older and fished as much as possible.. but life is life. As time went on, it got away from me. I just exited a long term marriage with a woman who used to be very amazing but lost herself along the way. Toxic. Abusive. The last 5 years were a straight loss for me. A big part of getting myself back.. getting back to my roots.. and rediscovering happiness has been my time on the water. You have made me a substantially better fisherman. I have rekindled a love for a hobby that brought me so much joy along the years. I am fishing a local "tough" lake and catching very very solid fish. You guys are absolutely my favorite fishing channel, and what you do for the whole community is such a gift. Thank you.

Great info as always!!! You and Matt are phenomenal at being teachers and more obviously fish catching machines. You two changed the way me and my 33 year old son fish. We used to get excited about catching 5-6 fish an outing, over the last year after seeing so many of your videos, we’re getting 15-30 each time. Can’t thank you two enough, you’re the epitome of awesomeness!!

Another key note to checking the big and small extremes, and different sounds, focus on the cadence extremes. Really fast or dead slow.

I have made all of those mistakes but I learn from those mistakes that I have made I am from Orlando Florida I have learned that bass behavie differently In different bodies of water I am a bank fishermen so I can only fish cover that's available to me most of the time I might catch one or two fish out that area. Grass or a overhanging tree or if there is a isolated patch of grass of some kind o isolated cover whatever it might be anyway the mistakes I have been is using the wrong technique or fishing to fast so it cost me fish so I have learned to Recognize the things I did wrong on that day so I completely understand where you are coming from I am no pro just a guy that's works a 9 to 5 job but bass fishing is my passion and you guys have inspired me to fish more and to learn more about the sport of bass fishing cause to me it's not about the money it's about my passion

Amazing video! Can relate so much. This year I have greatly improve my success Bass fishing by changing up and trying new things BUT it's so easy to fall back to your normal spots using your normal setup that at some point you caught decent fish and you wonder why it's not working this time around. Awesome vid.

Maybe the TN river system water gets cooler faster and that speeds up the transition. I'm in N. Texas. Lowland reservoir. Surface temp 79. No rain / No current. It won't be "fall" until Halloween by my definition. But they are definitely way more active since mid Sept. The TB underspin, KVD 1.5 sq bill, and soft jerkbait have been consistent but as you noted, rotating baits is important. I am so OCD I made a list of my rods and what bait I'm tying on before each outing. Sounds stupid but it helps me .... or least builds my confidence.

Great tutorial video Tim, well done. I can testify to going shallower than you normally go can be a pleasant surprise. Just last week I threw a Vision 110 Matte Shad in shallower water than I ever would normally. As soon as it landed it got swallowed up by a 23 inch, 5lb 9 oz largemouth. Thanks for the video.

We’re gonna miss the fall fishing here in North Carolina too much debris, floating in the lakes
@enonek29603 ай бұрын
Tim, as we transition into fall I always wondered when fishing from the bank if areas with an abundance of dead leaves should be avoided because they're a waste of time (due to lack of growing vegetation), or if I should give them a cast and hope something cruising by is willing to bite?

I do ! Me & my buddy spent 5 years bank fishing, then wading, before getting a boat. We used short rods, 6' or even 5'6" in order to cast better without getting caught up in the branches from the trees around us. Boats are cheap right now, real cheap. While we did have some fun from shore, it's nothing like being on the water .✌🏼
