Thanks for the video. Sorry it didn't work out. I seeded my bare dirt front yard and plan to pre germinate some seed to fill in any potential bare spots. Hopefully I won't need to do this, but since I'm a little late in the season, I figure it will be a good way to expedite the repairs.

Good job, my friend. I appreciate such a realistic video as I am trying to do something similar.

Thanks for the comment, I posted a video 2 weeks ago about this process and doing it the right way. Hopefully yours goes better than this one did!

I’ll definitely vouch for your comment about the Scott’s spreader creating those lines. In the early days I’ve made entire neighborhoods look like crops signals. Also all that coating is their way of ripping you off, as grass seed is sold by the weight. Use raw seed

The only raw bermudagrass seed I could find was common, I wanted an improved common or hybrid, so unfortunately I didn't have much of a choice.

I used chicken Poo as a carrier . For the seed , it worked very well and is cheaper the Milo.

I put tape to block fert, and seeds from going into the wheel. I hope it works out 😂

I've seen people do that with varying amounts of success, problem is the wheels are taller than where the seed/fert comes out and hits the wheels.

It needs some quick nitrogen but you can’t use that.

Its the right time of year to overseed cool season lawns!

Try to buy pure seed no coating. You only get a small amount of seed and 80% coating and filler. Do not get ripped off buy that type of bag of seed.

Would love to have used raw seed, but unfortunately only common bermuda is available uncoated. I was searching for an improved common or hybrid
