OMG just clocked the hospital scene at the end. Sending love, is Keely ok? Your first scene waking on the sea front has given me flashbacks to my first ever solo park up in that exact spot. I didn't have loud music, apart from the leakage from bars down the road a bit. But the dealer who was doing great trade from right next to my van. He was funny & charming & clearly this was his patch. Little sleep was had with a mix of anxiety about the knock either from him or from the police and the constant sound scape. However, I felt I got a window into the life of this stranger living on the margins. For a night we were neighbours and in a different life he would be interesting to talk to. Eventually I did get some sleep & woke to a different neighbour when I took my coffee to a bench overlooking the sea. There was a guy sleeping in his car who I had seen selling souvenirs the day before. We also didn't speak though he grinned at me as I offered him coffee & he shook his head. It truly is a privilege to have these moments, though I had a full day of work ahead and could have used some more sleep 🤣

I broke my already dodgy ankle in 4 places during lockdown, 6wks in plaster it was still broken and got left for 2.5yrs waiting to see the consultant. Long and short…… ankle fusion, 3mths in plaster then another 2mths before I could drive (all in the middle of doing my friends van conversion). Your Ozzie trip saved me from total boredom 😁 I’ve finally thrown the crutches away totally finished my friends and now half way through my own conversion 🥳 Don’t panic, what I didn’t say was I had an undiagnosed break as a child so some 40yrs later my ankle was already shot, so I’m sure you’ll be up and about in no time though be warned getting in and out of the van will be a challenge to start 😂🤣😂

We experienced alot of vehicle crime in London living in the van, Brighton always felt safe to us 🥰🥰

Yes, one "industry" which benefited greatly from Brexit was the mobile telecoms sector, because they were able to unwind the laws that the EU had put into place to prevent them from taking the complete hand out of the British (and the Irish) when on the mainland, and out of the mainlanders when they went to Britain or Ireland. Thankfully Ireland still has these protection from Mobile telecoms and all the other corporate gougers, but, alas, poor britian voted to take back control, and by take back control, I mean give away control to the multinationals who will screw every last penny out of them, at every opportunity, and for as long as they get away with it.

@@phillyandkeely It also appears that it is more difficult to successfully lobby enough EU politicians than it is to lobby (bribe?) a sufficient number of british politicians, in order to maintain a slanted playing field, i.e. slanted in favour of general corporations / multinational gougers. It seems like a really bad idea to break away from your tribe and go it alone, unless you are trying to avoid the scrutiny of your tribe (EU financial / money laundering legislation coming down the tracks that needed to be avoided because attempts to derail the legislation from within the EU had failed?). So, if you can not derail the Financial Services/ Money laundering legislation diplomatically from within, then, in order to avoid the implications of the EU legislation, you need then to convince the public that EU=BAD, and it is in their interests (of the ordinary people who were not laundering dirty money) to get out of the EU. Moggs, Camerons, Johnsons, Farages, et al, pulled a master stroke on the ordinary folk, who will remain totally folked, until they reverse the money launderers' hoodwink masterstroke (IMHO yea right). #really take back control
