What did you think of the staircase photo? Was I right?

Yes, I agree with your assessment.

I definitely like the staircase, the different shapes of the natural rocks and it makes me feel wanting to go up to watch what's behind it. So it looks intriguing and inviting to me.👍

I think the shot at 2:18 is beautiful! And I totally agree, rushing never helps. Thanks for shining light on such a picturesque location and for the great video!

Great advice about not being rushed…I enjoy taking portrait and landscape photos. When rushed the photos always seem a bit off in my opinion. Photography is something I enjoy and taking my time doing. Thank you so much for sharing and taking your time to bring us along with you 📷🙏

You are too critical of yourself sometimes. The shot at 2:55 is very good! That photo alone, made this outing worthwhile.

Very good advice Joshua any craftsman artist potter whatever will tell you that they cannot rush their work. All photographers and Im sure you told us yourself that you have to visit the same place many times to find the right composition and the right lighting conditions. Every shoot you go on is a learning experience and we learn from your mistakes too so you are teaching us too. Dont be so hard on yourself. Mind yourself and keep up the good work

Wales is so beautiful. The photo at 2.18 is great. Fellow R7 user.

I actually think you look quite good in glasses! They 'suit you sir!' 😂😂 Also I think you are WAY too hard on yourself with regard to your photos. It perhaps shows my inexperience as a photographer but I would be more than happy with any of those shots in the bag!

Well we all make mistakes. On the plus side it does make for an interesting video when you show things going wrong which it does more often than not for most of us. It also shows you are genuine and not afraid to admit you sometimes get it wrong. Still gets a thumbs up from me.

I like to carry a compact camera with me on my runs so that I don't miss images if they jump out at me. I have found over the years that looking for (and being aware of) subjects and compositions when running has helped hugely in developing my eye. The knock-on effect is that when I'm there just for photography, anything less than running doesn't feel like rushing! On a side note, is that really the shutter noise of the R7? That would drive me nuts!

The damages are a pity. Your photos are not. I find them very beautiful. 👍🏼💚

Joshua, as we say up north “S**t Happens” , it’s how you deal with it that matters. Knowing where you are, I would suggest the better light, comes earlier in the evening, as the hill behind does rather tend to block the light. Enjoyable anyway. Thank you, and I hope the broken bits make a quick recovery.

hi mate, cool glasses like the design, need my self also new glasses so I will get some inspiration of your ones. Good video love the photos and also bin there, I hate when I am on a rush...

Hi, thanks for the video and i enjoyed your photos. I think that is better to stop looking at a shooting session as being either a winner or a loser. This puts to much pressure on yourself. Why not just think (a) finished work, (b) got time to get a few shots in golden hour, (c) great chance to try out that new location, (d) great opportunity to get out into nature, (e) shoot didn't turn out as i hoped, but i got some nice trial shots and (f) gee I learned a lot for the next time i visit that location. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Oh mate! The lens drop is a heart in the throat moment. It's focusing/calibration seems to still good so that's something I suppose. And if it can be glued so you can fit filters and hood, that'd be a big plus. Always enjoyable Joshua, even when you think the pics suck 🙂

@@tinkerjar396 Congratulations. You will not be disappointed. It is really a great camera with a massive variety of lens options. More than the R7. But I wanted the IBIS and focus tracking... I will definitely urge you to buy the Tamron 18-400mm. Its the one lens you need! And a sigma 17-50mm f2.8 and then you are sorted..

Josh, on a previous beautiful video of yours you mentioned of a potential photoshoot, long weekend - or week) provided people are interested. Just wanted to ask how can we let you know of our interest and get more info about it. Here on the channel? Many thanks

Just discovered your channel! Seems like we've been on some very similar journeys! I also started out with a 250D and am now on the Canon R7. Love the content and your presenting style as well as the photos! Also went over and checked out your instagram :) I'm trying to do some similar things here in Dorset with my channel. Looking forward to the next video!

@TheJoshuaPeg please forgive me if i sound harsh or rude in advance, i admire and respect you and your older content and the way you present it. But ... i kinda dislike new Canon R series of cameras due the fact Canon has gone and made it super cheap/"breaksalot" and then locked it so you can either use EF-R adapter or pay exorbitant prices for their L lenses. So i am openly boycotting them and their camera, and in a way for me to stay true and have my integrity intact, i can no longer follow your content, even thou i love it so far prior to this. I am not to dictate your choice of camera or any choice really. Just makes me sad that I can not support it any more.

What? You won't watch because he chose Canon?
@Mihazero5 ай бұрын
@@johnchastain4351 Yes, I will not watch or follow because of his choice, which he can have, no issue there. But, i don't want to give any support to team canon via watching or participating in content created on or advertising Canon products. And if you want to have some other comment, my 1st camera was Canon T-70, a precursor to EOS lineup, and subsequently heaps of gear made for or made by Canon themself. Ever since release of R range of cameras i took hard "NOPE" stance and will not support or advertise said brand. Was that enough or you need more?
