This is so damn true. My friend recommended me her cup, it was a shorter cup and I ended up spending 2 hours trying to get it out 😂 later I realized I’ve a long cervix and needed a longer cup

This is true. My first cup was a large moon cup because I saw a few good reviews and went for large because I was 39. It was way too big, I had trouble urinating, and I got a horrible UTI - because I persevered. I then did my research, ended up with a small Saalt soft - I still had a little trouble urinating but nowhere near as bad… Now have a small Saalt disc, I actually have a large too, I’m experimenting I think the large is a little too large but I’m not sure. It auto dumps too easily, the small seems to stay in place better. Not all ‘older’ (I say older, but I mean at the tail end of our period journey) women need bigger cups, it really is very personal.

One problem I’ve had that NONE of my friends have is cups sit on my bladder and make me pee more! If I only stuck to cups my friends recommended I would be having a bad time!

i just did a test, (on the website to see what one i may have) and i might start using them if tampons are uncomfortable. Could you use the cups when swimming?

This is true asf but i also simply ordered some affordable menstrual cup i found 2 x $20 back in 2020 and never bothered trying more💀💀. It's comfy asf, never had it overfill and i can take it out with ease. I guess i just got lucky at first try lmao

And it’s not like you can Return them so you’re out $40. I’ve waited lots of money on different products and finally found a disposable one that works for me. I’m scared to try a reusable one since I’ll have to spend the money on all the different kinds

Same here. I still buy panty liners though cause i hate discharge or small amounts of period leakage on my underwear. But $2 on like 2 months worth of liners is nothing compared to other menstrual products 😭

Try the quiz on periodnirvana.com. Every 1st time cup user is taking an "educated guess" based on some general guidelines that indicate if your muscle tone would match more to a "small" or "large" size cup.
