A thing Im worrying about is that there can come a character later on when people have spent their summons who is much better than the character you just pulled for. I believe, in the same the early days of genshin was, that the characters we have now, some are meta, the rest are not.. and in a future patch, those characters are or close to obsolote.. or power crept.. idk

Go watch TenTens video on Verina and it'll show you yet another reason why she's insane. She literally lets you play your main MORE while still providing ALL of her buffs. So instead of having to switch and stay on the unit for like 5 seconds, you switch to verina for less than a second then dip.

Verina is genuinely a good character that difficult to top, I know that people might not like her because of her looks and age but If you want a good character then re-roll for her. She gives you heals, atk buff, universal dmg buff and prevents one death in a game where the boss can easily one shot you. But to be honest it doesn't matter what you do Because it's "your account", You don't need anyone to tell you what to do or don't.

Even if you don't get her right away, shes a standard character anyways. You will get her eventually, especially if Kuro follows its own practices. But Verina and characters in a similar role to her will all be important pieces in team comps. Cause if its like PGR, you will need a balanced team to be effective. She will get replaced, but not in terms of damage what the OP suggested. But rather cause another healer provides more utility and benefits instead to help a team comp.

I just saw Tenten's video about Verina. She seems very good. People often mention Qiqi when discussing Verina. What about Bennet ? At the end of the day, I agree that people shouldn't care too much about re-roll. Going to the game fresh and uninformed is a much better way to enjoy a new game.

1:40 I've played and tested a lot the last beta, she IS that good. There are 3 healers in the game and she gives like 30% dmg increase after doing the outro atk (it is a bit annoying to do) and if you put the healer set it gives 22% atk. Another thing that both me and others noticed is that it feels better to use just 2 characters instead of 3

Her survivability in exploration is insane. She will never die but she will fall off in the end game. The only thing that is good about her in the end game is her ult CC.

Verina Buffs +15% Total DMG to whole team. +20% ATK to whole team. +12% Total DMG for next character switching in. +22.5% ATK for next character switching in. Requirements to get Verina's Buff's Taking away LITERALLY .5 seconds of your main DPS's field time in order to Swap Skill Swap continue attacking with Main DPS. This guy points out ONLY her 20% attack which tells me he knows nothing about what he is talking about. Also 20% attack is a Maxed 5 Star Weapon. 20% is equal to a Max upgraded 5 Star Elite Echo cost 3. A 5 Star Calamity/Overlord max upgraded Echo Cost 4 is 33% at it's highest roll. I have no idea how you are dumb enough to say 20% doesn't sound that high.

Let's be real.. we all should know that it doesn't matter whos the most meta in WuWa .. You just literally have to get good and Verina has the capability of that as well, she may be meta or not, it doesn't matter at all cuz all characters can be op however you want them to be. So yeah it's completely wrong to force metas in WuWa where skills matters the most due to the company's focus on combat skills. So just like what teccy said about nothing could ever powercreep is the character that you like, so do that and you'll feel really rewarded and motivated to play the game despite the Metas.

Well yes, PGR has Dps,Tank, and Healer. Healer job is taken by Amplifier since they buff and heal too albeit not as good as healer. Amplifier(they buff the specific elements, basically dedicated buffer) for each elemts. This one definitely gonna have it too.

Verina is the Bennett of WuWa. Other healers need to be 7 or more seconds on field to cast all their buffs and heals, while Verina only needs 1 second and gives way more buffs.

Any character that requires field time more than a second is objectively worse than Verina unless said character start pumping out high damage along with a higher buff. That is not happening until a year+ A character that can give a higher buff and better dps. Verina is a universal buffer (not limited by element), that takes 0 field time, its hard to powercreep that in less than a year.

I protest. Idk that it's true that standard banner 5 star healers 'fall off' so much as that later ones become OBSCENE. Bailu is actually still EXTREMELY competent at keeping your teams alive in Genshin. Are there better healers? Yes... do you NEED better healers than Bailu to survive? No. You simply need 'a healer' in your group period, which is why the architype is so important to your team composition... but while she's by no means the 'best' healer in the game anymore, I don't believe she's 'fallen off' She remains all the healing you actually NEED. In THAT sense, if Wuthering Waves has a similar 'you just need 'a' healer to progress' mentality than Verina (or whatever) may be a 'tactically' sound starting pick in case you just don't want to fuss with healers in the future...... but frankly we just don't know enough about how WW's will evolve to make any such statements atm.

Tbf, if the game is as difficult as people claim, to a point where you can get oneshotted on regular basis in endgame, she will be powercrept soon and hard. They might want you to taste the pain, figure out that healing sucks, because one does not simply heal through onetaps and then release ... Zhongli :D. Busted shielder will probably be the meta defining sustainer in the (near?) future. Still, if you need multiple teams + you might not be able to pull that shielder character, she will be probably be real solid for a while.

@@AdamTuxTengler She is not a simple healer like Qiq and Bailut, Verina is a universal buffer that takes no field time (basically half a second to press E) to get the buff. Every other character requires set up. Her outro skill also buffs all damage in general, no downside or set ups.

For me she is the best because she is a healer the mistake will be pick dps that will be replaced so easy for more powerful characters but dps last more longer.

I don't ever pull for what content creators tell me to pull for. They can mock and make fun of people who use "bad" or "non-meta" characters all they want, but it just shows their pride and arrogance in the community, meaning they expect you to listen to them instead of pulling for whoever you like. Meta is fun for most people, but not required for every stupid little situation in a game... CCs or meta randos that say we "need" to have a certain unit for our accounts all for the sake of meta need to shut it.
