But this breed of maids is now becoming extinct as the majority is too preoccupied and do not have extra time. Whenever something is misplaced, the first suspect is always the maid. However, most of the times, the misplaced item is recovered from inside the cupboard. While they keep an eye on the maid, the other eye is monitoring the spouse. Any sustained “suspicious attention” is unpardonable and the maid has to pay the price with her job. And soon thereafter, the quest for another suitable maid begins!
