My heart is literally broken. Winona, all I wanted was to see you get better. Even when it was hard for me to support you because of some of your actions. When I unfollowed I’d still check on you to see if you were doing ok. But I know now that those actions weren’t you. It was the addiction. People aren’t their true selves when they’re addicts. The drugs paint a distorted and dark picture of who people really are. But your true self would show in sweet ways. A soft and kind soul. And your music is where you were truly honest. I wanted to see you get better in every way. Clean, sober, happy, healed, learning and loving yourself. I wanted to see you live the life you longed for. I’ve listened to your music for so long now. I see a sad pattern of everyone singing of death soon dying. I hoped it’d be different for you. I wanted to see you live and live fully. It breaks my heart that we’ll never get to see you that way. I miss you so much everyday and I wish I could speak to you again. I never expected to miss you this much. I still can’t find the right words to explain how I feel and the sorrow I feel of not being able to ever see you get better. I hope wherever you are, you’re happy. You’re free and absolved of all the pain you felt. I hope you’re glowing and warm and surrounded by your favorite colors. And in your next life, I hope it’s easier for you. I wonder why that is. When people sing or talk about death a lot & include the idea into their art, it seems they lead themselves into early graves. They have also done a study when it comes to tattoos & have noticed a link between people with "morbid" tattoos such as skulls, negative words or images (Winnes Suicide Hotline tattoo for example, or Peeps "Exit Life" or "get cake die young" things like that) they've found there's a strange kind of correlation between early death & tattoos like that. Manifestation is REAL. Be careful what you say or even think about. You can easily send out the wrong messages to the universe & bring upon yourself things that you didn't REALLY want. 💔 R.I.P Winnie. LND. 🌹 Beautiful track, by the way. 🖤

One of the hardest things about all this is how little her death was actually covered… she was independent and that comes with a cost but she owned all her music and she had all her rights to it so I think sometimes it’s best that way but I thing she deserves some post humorous album thank you for this it’s the closest we might get

Completly understandable, i never thought that a death from someone i barley even knew would have this much effect on me .. sadly i never had a chance to talk to her but i wrote with her a few times... looking at these old chats really breaks my heart. I can't even imagine what it must be like to have really known her and then to experience something like that. But I have to say, your music is really helping me not to sink completely into depression at the moment, these beats in combination with your voice really saves me. Winona and I spoke but we didn’t get really close because I backed away but now it’s literally one of my biggest regrets. The last time we spoke I think was late last year like in November or something. I took her being here for granted. I miss her so much.
