So many people requested that I should do this song. I've done videos like this in the past with other Minecraft parodies like Revenge if you have watched my earlier vids. I don't need to explain any further. Request the next song in the comments!

Well, there is one difference. At night, monsters might ambush you when you leave and kill you (especially at low health from the monsters and other dangers that are underground) and at day, no monsters can spawn, leaving you safe.

Anyway, you should definitely mine at night since there is a limited amount of mobs that can spawn (the mob cap). So if you mine at night, a portion of the mob cap will be occupied by the mobs at the surface therefore there will be less mobs in the cave.

A single skeleton is more dangerous than multiple in a line. During the day, a skeleton might shoot a creeper that would've killed you, but at night the skeleton may not be there, allowing the creeper to kill you.

The funny thing is, you SHOULD absolutely mine at night! Scince mobs will spawn on the surface at night, they take up slots from the mobcap, and you'll find a bit fewer monsters in the caves. Apart from that, it's also a good method of spending time productively (especially if you don't have a bed yet), scince you can't really do stuff on the surface at this time.
