A 50% budget boost is a lot. I'd be happy with 5-10%.

@@Fargassier I agree, but when bargaining, if you start too high, the other party doesn't take you seriously. Which happens a lot with Bethesda. I hope they can find some way to boost it one of these days, but the amount of server stress CAMPs produce is very limiting for them. I'd honestly be happy for a bit if they would just go back to the older shelters with seriously low budgets for their size and re-evaluate them. The fact that the Atrium has the same budget as the utility room is painful.

@@Lordoftheapes79 I don't see 50% being that bad of an ask especially with what they said at Quakecon about the way the structure was for the listings in the build menu so I think the team has something potentially planned.

@@Fargassier I do need to rewatch that, but the problem lies in what is placed. As far as I know, anything that is in the game is simply loaded on the user's end, but Atom Shop items are loaded from the server. If they were simply in the user files, especially with this community, people would simply hack them into their game rather than purchasing them. This is where the 50% number is high because there are a LOT of Atom Shop items at this point. Every one of those items and all of their geometry needs to be preloaded, then properly loaded once they're within any player's draw distance. It's not just the server stress that is considered here, tho they're usually compounded together, it's also the bandwidth necessary to track it all. Them acknowledging the organizational problems with the build menu at Quakecon is a wonderful thing. I really hope they are going to put the work into it. Similar items sorted into different categories, redundant menus and under used ones. Honestly, structural building and decorations need to be separated and we need more decorative categories and themed filters. Posters and paintings in particular drive me nuts. Instead of adding them to the same categories, they add each one as a new one. Stat boosters should be in their own category, prefabs as well. Foliage, outdoor decor, floor decor, tabletop decor, instruments, etc... Should each have their own categories. Meanwhile, nearly every stash box is in the same slot while being wildly different. Some things should exist in multiple tabs like desks which are both stashes AND furniture and why the hell aren't tables and chairs next to each other? I love building, but after 8 years of playing, most with FO1st and a dozen seasons under my belt, the build menu is an unmitigated disaster. Sorry for the rant.
