The crunch on that baguette looked and sounded fantastic. That flavor combo sounded just right, not too much and not too little. The toasted croutons were a special touch. This is what street food is all about, and that's why I prefer it to most restaurant dining. Can't wait for the next video in Danang.

Huỳnh Thúc Kháng street is called the Breakfast street of Đà Nẵng and I hope you understand why. It is full of good food and is hella lively during the 7-8AM time where everybody's out looking for sth to eat to start the day.

I've never had that particular banh mi, but recall seeing Helen's Recipes showing it years ago and thinking what an odd banh mi. Glad to hear it's good. You should try the seafood restaurant "Flora and Note" ate at in Danang. I think Flora said it was the best thing she ever ate and they both loved the food there.

That banh mi looks tasty -never tried it with banh bot loc (tapioca and shrimp). Great to see you sit for a chat with the banh mi lady (Co=Aunty Van=her name, so 'Aunty Van'). 🙂

That Bahn MI looked great, one of the ones we had in Saigon had way too much meat like 8 different cuts, too overwhelming. Be in Bangkok for a month starting August 15, staying in Ekhami area. Need to tour some lunch spots with ya
