I'm new to the "paper" world! I had never heard of a junk journal! I'm an avid crocheter and knit a little. So, I usually watch "yarn" videos on KZbin. I experimented today to make some digital pages for myself... layered pretty fabric scraps and fussy cut pieces from fabric onto my scanner bed... made a collage- like a4 page but with fabric! So pretty!

Hi Pam,you are the queen of inspirational ideas,thank you,also you mentioned scissors...I heard from an artist that the best fussy cutting/tiny cut scissors are...wait for it...the simple small curved tip silver colour nail scissors...I tried this(curved tips point in toward project)and ohhhh tiny cut heaven,they work like a dream and so cheap!hope this tip helps while your scissors are missing,love and hugs to you,sunny,Holly,lovies and papa xx

Hey, Pam... What about doing a challenge for inspiration? Take one each from your supply categories and create a page or small journal? One scissors, one piece of cloth,.one cereal box, one stamp, one ink, one glue, one washi tape, one string, one bead, one ribbon, one ephemera digital page, one sticker, one paper bag, something for pages... You get the idea, random unrelated themes. Or is this how you normally operate? Thanks for all you do! ❤️👍

I’m ending my night shift watching you make works of art eating a barvarian cream filled donut! And I’m wishing I could make a journal I did try but only made some papers I dyed some crumpled them distressed etc I’ve bought a lot of crafting things plus I’ve always kept neat little things to use for “something “ some other time lol but I didn’t finish it I struggled with the cover and got discouraged I guess. Yours are beautiful thank you for being down to earth and teaching us with easy to follow idea’s have a good day. Now back to eating this donut 🍩

I too got discouraged when making my first journal due to the cover. But I didn't give up. Ended up using older book covers and cardboard/cloth spine. That worked a lot better. Being your first journal don't expect perfection. It's all about the learning and coming up with things that are comfortable for you. Pam has been doing this a long time so of course she makes it look easy and beautiful. I have learned so much from watching her tutorials and from keeping on, mistakes and all. Just relax and enjoy the process but most of all have fun. We will all get there someday, lol.

I have all kinds of crafty stuff and even save packing paper some nice cardboard stuff embellishments etc and a nice craft room to work on things just don’t take the time to do it . I didn’t even know what that paper was a thing but I’ve always kept interesting paper cardboard just knowing there was something I could use it for. Pam helped me through a hard time when I had a knee replacement done a couple years ago and was off work for 6 weeks that’s when I found her in KZbin and I found her voice and what she was doing with the journal’s very soothing to my soul 🥰❤️ what I got done with the one I made I gave to my daughter the way it was and she loves it even though it doesn’t have a cover lol anyway sorry to ramble thanks again!!!

Easy way t9 do that Pam would be to make a giant triangle for the corner then cut it in thirds remove the middle then all you have to measure is one large one above the second

I love recipe books I copy them and pulled up in a pocket and I have a little bit of pockets in one page and I put recipe old recipe books you know the right amount I age them that's a nice thing to do but I usually put that either in the middle the back or the front see I'm trying to make them for my sister My family thank you so much for helping
