The combos in Ultimate feel more like the combos in Melee or 64, where the opponent is either in hitstun the whole time or gets caught in techtraps. It just seems like "combo" is a better representation of what's happening than "string."

I didn't mean stage variety as in strictly new stage geometry. In Smash 4, omega variants weren't legal because different omega stages had different geometry and collision, but now omega and Battlefield variants are unified, so that's not an issue anymore. Now we can have tournaments that take place entirely on FD/BF and actually have some variety in visuals and music.

@@swifterman9000 oh your right weird.... Well I can explain it. Snake hit Pikachu off the right side of the stage. Snake then fired the Nikita missile out to chase Pikachu and made it spin in circles at the ledge of the stage. Pikachu then dropped very low below the stage Side B'd to do skull bash to move far across the bottom of the stage to then use quick attack to grab the left ledge of the stage. Well snake's Nikita missile then followed Pikachu under the stage during all that and caught him during his quick attack just before he grabbed the ledge. It killed Pikachu, was pretty dope and Snake can control that dam missile for way too long xD

MVD played a mean Snake, I love seeing how much he's improved and seems to be moving into Ultimate pretty smoothly. I do also think that he and some other outings are showing pretty definitively that Snake's been somewhat overlooked for the potential niche he may have in the current meta that seems to be forming. With all the light to middle weight characters who rely on oppressive neutral games and aerial aggression, it just seems like Snakes' overall kit seems to disrupt that a lot with all these trades that rack up damage fast that Snake can walk away from a bit better than a lot of the lighter opponents that have to take it if they go in. That and Nikita's proving to be so damn good.

Azaldi Young Link is smaller and thus harder to hit. Remote bombs arent necessarily better, as they make Link’s recovery harder and can be grabbed and kept away from Link for an indefinite amount of time. Young Link’s fire arrows are insane, dealing tons of damage and knockback and even comboing into themselves. Young Link is faster in the air and once again, is a smaller target. He has just as much if not more kill potential than Link.
