Open AI Chat GPT has so much potential, I think it’s so stupid how it’s behind a paywall and a limit. I payed for GPT Plus and it still has a limit, if I pay for something why am I still restricted in using it?

Well you would have to assume OpenAI know what they are doing right? I mean the average IQ in there is 135, so its not like they are stupid or something. I think they are crap at supplying a consumer service and its not useful for anything but marketing to be honest. They make MOST of their money from developers using the API anyway, consumers make up a relatively small part of their income and are clearly causing problems. It'd likely be better for all if they just shut down ChatGPT and used a B2B model only.

I have decided to keep Chat GPT Plus. As a heavy user of Chat GPT the higher usage limits and especially the GPT 4 Store which is what I use the most(I create my own GPTs so...) is still only available with GPT Plus. Also the early access to new features is nice.

I use Teams and GPT-4 for coding. GTP-4o is a complete disaster when it comes to coding. It often tries to force me to use handicapped 4o version but i keep switching to 4. But because most users don't see the difference gpt-4 started to work numerous times faster. 4o was designed to reduce the load to the machines, not to make your experience with it better.

I asked ChatGPT 4o and it responded with this (I assume it’s the same issue for android as well) “The voice chat feature in the ChatGPT iOS app was temporarily disabled in early May 2024 due to technical issues. OpenAI is working on resolving these problems and plans to restore the feature soon. I think that the new audio capabilities will be exclusively for paid accounts once they roll it out. I think this is a great move. People on a strict budget should have some access to these tools, which are becoming more important every day

i could record audio messages to ChatGPT apparently with 4-Omni (calling it that so there is no confusion between it and the older 4.0). I didnt extensively test it at all but its apparently an option

Even if you dont use anything except the standard models - 20 bucks is no money if you use the thing remotely for your job. Plus inferences are way faster.
