Thanks for the update, I have a pair of Frogg Toggs but a different model. Have to see this fall how they hold up.

I've had pretty good results doing repairs on neoprenes myself, using aqua seal. One big gnarly one, L shaped about 4"x4", watertight on the first try. Along with several smaller ones.

I would like to try some E6000 on the seal but i would rather not void my warranty but then again it costs money to ship the waders back each time.

Cold have purchased some GearAid Aquaseal and done the same damn thing for a cheaper quick in home repair for $9.00. Lessons learned 🤣

Never send a pair of waders back unless they say there going to replace it. If it cost you 70$ to ship them there you could of bought 7 bottles of aqua seal and had them sealed in 20 minutes.

My froggtoggs after a couple seasons my butt seal and between my thighs started to leak and I wore them all season and was just gonna seal them again but ended up ripping the leg on my tail gate all in all good waders just the seams started to leak

Talk about bad luck right there. I'm also thinking about going back to neoprene waders

@@blackpineoutdoors5509 mine were neoprene they were the frog tog amphib waders in bottomland with 800g thinsulate and they kept me warm down to like 2° then I was like ah it’s cold now but that hunt was trash we couldn’t keep a hole open and I think I actually opened the seems up on that hunt cause I was using my butt to open a hole

Is it normal to get only one year out of waders, approx. 30 fishing days? Only got one year out of Redhead (Bass Pro), and one year out of a pair of Simms. For they're cost, I want a new pair, not the hassle, and added expense of shipping them for just a repair!!

For cheap ones I find yes but when I dumped the money on a nicer set it's lasted alot longer. Mind you those are not insulated and suck to hunt in

Nothing worse than a leaky butt seal. Looks like I'm looming elsewhere.

I think the hole was your error.

You bought too big of waders and the inseams rubbed
