Don't pick the wrong hotel on Catalina island! The Pavillion is the best!

Nice hotel for sure but what are the prices for each hotel?

Hi! Well it depends on the time of year and which hotel you choose. The Pavillion usually runs in the $200 per night range. Fall and spring are usually lower in price and obviously weekdays are less expensive.

@jacobmorales1283 yes, the lowest prices are in the winter, I prefer Catalina Island when it's a little warmer though 😉

I’m looking for a hotel with a nice view and a roof too jacuzzi but man it’s hard lol any ideas

The only place I know of with a jacuzzi is Hotel Catalina and they don't have a good view. Look up Zane Grey Hotel, they have an amazing view and I think they have a pool, maybe jacuzzi

Hi there! I would avoid Hotel Catalina, Catalina Canyon Inn and Casa Mariquita. We recommend the Pavillion Hotel, Hotel Atwater, Gilmore Plaza hotel and the Hotel St. Lauren. Hope you have a great time on Catalina Island!

@@larynjanay4878 we are a family of 7. So I’m trying to find a family friendly hotel that can accommodate us. We normally book an airbnb when we travel. I was having a hard time trying to find an airbnb for Catalina. I was also thinking of catching the first ferry out of Long Beach. Im not sure if that’s too early to arrive on the island.

@Apelila Hi again, call the hotel St. Lauren, we stayed in a huge room there once, it was previously 2 rooms that they made into one big room, has 2 full bathrooms! You'd probably have to get two rooms to fit all of you. There's another hotel that has a bedroom with separate living room and kitchen, I can't think of the name but I will look it up and get back to you. The only bad feature of Hotel St. Lauren is that it's about a two block walk up hill to the hotel from the beach.

@Apelila ok, the other place I was thinking of has horrible reviews so I can't recommend it. Have you looked at condos in Hamilton Cove? Also, as far as what boat to take, I wouldn't plan on getting to Catalina too much before 9 or 10 am, restaurants and shops should be open by then. The golf cart rental place closest to the boat docks are the nicest people and best price I think just to let you know😉
