She was pretty strong in S9 iirc. The damage and stat changes just weren't kind to her, especially with not having any mobility in her kit.

Arachne’s ult should stun if you land directly on top of the enemy god. That way it would be worth engaging with somewhat.

That enemy team comp was the perfect opportunity to bring out the crit. I understand that you might want to shy away from crit in a god guide video, but frankly the sustained damage build was not the way to go against 5 squishies.

Can someone articulate how exactly Ix Chel's build was bad? Was it just Pythagorem's Piece and the Sphinx's Baubles being sub-par? Or was there something more nuanced?

Her starter of choice is the worst option out of the mage starters for Ix Chel. She went flat pen third item instead of first. Pythags isn't too good rn on mid mages. Bauble isn't too good, either. No soul reaver, no Ethereal Staff. Overall, she had low power because of the item choices.

As a 31 star Arachne you'd be wrong. Unless you're a high tier player in a low tier lobby, she's not good. She's also very team dependent until she can get to late game where she can at least trade with the enemy carry or mid.

@sasukegameing2447 you can main someone all you want. I've seen people eith many more stars than 31 and that doesn't mean that 1) you're even good with her, just that you play her a lot, and 2) that the god is good in the meta. Arachne is one of my go-tos, since I prefer AA junglers. But she's just cheeks right now. Maybe when the next season comes out they'll make sone changes that buff AA junglers and she'll be strong again, but rn with the damage nerf and the durability patch from last season, she just doesn't perform well. She relies on snowballing, but doesn't have the burst like someone like Susan, or at least the max hp damage that say like Thana has. I will admit, his midlaner absolutely made his life harder than it needed to be, but even then, she just can't compete lategame with ability assassins like she used to.

Damn... i play her lately and i enjoy her. She puts people in the web and slows em down she takes health. I enjoy her. Just gotta attack a good 1 on 1 and shes good.
