Today I was not going to turn on my laptop to study. I saw this and was led to view it by a higher power. Although I am not an Oprah fan, I am now enlightened by her words. I so needed to hear this 30 year ago and needed to hear it now at the age of 54. I have spent over 40 years of my life pouring my energy into others who were and are undeserving. Doing so have caused me consequences personally, mentally, emotionally, and even financially. I now understand the value of my energy and setting boundaries.
