Based on other early 2.0 access folks, isn't this was actually all about the Attribute perks and Skills (Netrunner, Solo, Shinobi, Engineer, and I think Headhunter?) are something else entirely? Since they replaced the old skill progression where you had to run to get Athletics xp, and cut people with swords for Blades xp, etc. Would love to hear about this part of 2.0 cause I've only seen it mentioned but very few details besides that it gave much cooler buffs than the old skill system did (which was mostly small %buffs and extra perk points to spend).

I REALLY want a NG+ added to this game. You spend all that time making a badass and…the game ends. CDPR said new game plus would be too difficult to include because of balance changes and testing. I don’t see how. The whole point of NG+ is to play again with an OP character to rush through and see the things you missed on your first play through without having to slowly make progress again with a new character. They wouldn’t have to rebalance anything. If they added it in Witcher 3 they can add it to Cyberpunk 2077.

Sooo.. it seems to me, from the build planner cdpr made. Intelligence doesn't matter anymore for cyberdecks. Crafting is no longer tied to any stats and tech ability, but cybernetics are very dependent on tech ability. Pistols are at cool now over reflexes. Body is much less useful for health, you can only get 35 more health at 15 points. Might as well keep it at 9 or even 4 depending on how much the armor you get from cybernetics helps mitigate the loss of health, every attribute point in body gives you 2 health per level. So at 9 that would be 18 health per level. At 15 it's 30 health etc, this also means the 35 extra health you get from adranaline rush lv 1 (which needs 15 attribute points into body) is completely useless lol Intel has one good 20 skill that makes your quickhacks spread. But mostly it seems to limit your hacking very little if you decide to go with lower intel. I personally will take 12 intel, only really need 9. And I always found smart weapons to be boring It's a shame that lmgs and shotguns are tied to body but those I'm least likely to use (although I will miss shotguns). In the end reflexes will give me katana, smgs, and ar plus dash, air dash etc. And the lv 20 skills are incredibly strong for every category. Then 20 tech because you need at least 15 to unlock all cybernetics spots. tech weapons are great fun. And the lv20 cybernetics skill for both cybernetics and tech guns is super strong (although the cybernetics one is all about sacrificing health for cybernetics capacity, which would synergize well with high body) lastly 20 cool, I want to pistol and katana or at least be able to between AR/SMG and Katana to a pistol/throwing knive/katana or pistol/ar/katana this tree also has movement speed. Or maybe start sniping etc. Anyway this setup allows me to max all weapons except shotguns, lmgs, and blunt weapons. I will need to move around some pionts and respec perk points sometimes but will be able to enjoy all weapons, have super high armor, be a decent hacker (I don't know if I can use highest level hacks, but it seems like I can, just not as efficiently as someone that puts more points into intel) I will have relatively low health but very high stopping power and mobility and that's the way I like it. So 20 reflex, 20 tech ability, 20 cool, 12 (or 9) intel and 9 (or 12) body

It depends on how the skill system is built. It can be easy in some games to pick poorly designed options that sound cool or miss obvious synergies the designers expected you to take then end up struggling through the game. The more possibilities there are the more chances for you to do something unexpected that simply doesn't work, or sometimes even works better than it was meant to. Doesn't hurt to get advice from others on how x combination might actually work in practice, especially someone who makes money from sitting there testing these things for weeks and making videos about it.

And in regards to clothing all the mod slots they removed form the clothing took away extra stats like base movement speed, crit rate, armour etc. and it’s now all in your cyber wear but you can’t pick in choose the stats attached to each piece. And also only select weapons have mod slots, I now have several maxed weapons I can’t add anything to and about 50 optics because I can’t use them on anything or I have the mods and that only work on one weapon type and the gun I have of that type doesn’t have a slot to put anything in.

@@yeagerist2258 There aren’t enough perk points to keep your former proficiency in both styles as strong as they were. If you wanna spec a lot into one you can’t spec much at all into the other especially if you want to have anything in one of the other three trees. They just didn’t give enough perk points period imo.

So with melee, cool is kinda pointless now? You still get the crit dmg from points, but the points seen wasteful since u won't really take perks

It's funny that that they went from tech tree being necessary for crafting, fixed it, then immediately made tech tree necessary for using cyberwear and healing
@juliocorderohernandez184 Жыл бұрын
FACTS. Only way u can make a character with low tech attribute is if you play full stealth and focus purely on netrunning and stealth/silenced weapons which is damn near impossible on very hard difficulty. Too little dps and ur made of glass.
@AlphaMachina Жыл бұрын
Would you say it makes more sense to spec strictly into one attribute or another for a specific build, or is it possible to make a good hybrid build? I want to be able to do a little bit of netrunning on top of a Reflex/Cool build. So, probably majority into Reflexes, and then some into both Cool and Intelligence, I guess, right? I'm starting the game over completely tonight, so I guess I'll have plenty of time to just mess with it. I've played this game 3 times already and never made it past "Meet Hanako at Embers". lmao
@rjtablet Жыл бұрын
At end game i was able to put 20 intelligence, 20 reflexes, 20 tech ability, 17 body, 4 cool. With gorilla arms equipped, you can open doors that require the 20 body too without needing 20 in body. You will need Pantom Liberty to raise level cap to 60 for this.

I honestly hate the new skill tree. It forces all “V” players to play the same due to all the skills branching from the bottom and the new NEED to unlock a lower skill to move higher up the tree. I’m honestly disgusted by this skill update. It takes away so much build flexibility in favor of all V’s having the same root skills regardless. All V’s can now get 20 attribute points in 5 of the 6 slots with the new level cap. I’m just overall dissapointed. They could have just added these skills to the original skill planner and replaced some of the old ones. The original skill sheet that lets you decide to pick any skill as long as your attribute level allows it is much better than this new skill tree. I’m forced to buy into the bottom skill to get to the next tier of said skill in the new skill tree and i hate it.

@yfnratchet Жыл бұрын
@@hammermandan8264 I find it to have the same value as a party trick. The gameplay _looks_ a lot more bombastic and 'fun' and I very much appreciate the extra combat opportunities, but it's not worth removing a lot of player choice when it comes to specializing. You're forced to min-max into a specific weapon type and playstyle based off which basic stats or skills you like more. Horrible. I also don't like that all the perks are barfed into one big table per attribute now, which removes the clear delineation between which perks are actually worth something to you and which aren't. I think it's a huge step back in terms of player choice and If I ever update to 2.0 I'm going on the hunt for a mod that puts me back on 1.6 perks with maybe some takeaways from 2.0.
@MeldinX2 Жыл бұрын
@@yfnratchet Eh i mean i can see both sides. I think the new system are better in some ways but worse in others. It's better in terms of clarity and in terms of acually giving new actions you can do instead of just being passives and stat increases. It's worse for build diversity since the new tree locks you into a certain playstyle which the other one did not. Atleast as much.
@yfnratchet Жыл бұрын
@@MeldinX2 Yeah, I'll concede that in terms of UI the old perk trees sucked. It was hard to tell which perks gave you what, especially in terms of crafting perks in the Tech and Intelligence trees. I would have enjoyed an upodate to that design, but in final UX it didn't matter _too_ much to me since I could just do a little spiral out from the center to see what did what and plan accordingly.
@varelasensei Жыл бұрын
I’m personally running what I call the 4/20 netrunner build which is 4/20/20/20/15, with a focus on intelligence perks, dipping in SMGs, Cyberware & a few Cool skill tree perks. In my original playthrough I did a Tech/Cool build that focused on Crafting and Stealth with Throwable Knives and Blades. Since I don’t need any investment to get the best crafting anymore, and I don’t really want to move away too much from a more methodical, carefully planning playstyle, but also don’t want to do purely stealth again either, this is the way to go for me and my god I am loving it. This build is also perfect if you like using Skippy!

so is the dying night style, ricochet-headshot archetype dead now, or do we just have to build it way differently, please? I'm leaving my level 26 V (which was my Dying Night build, in progress) for now, to focus on a new hacker/monowire character (definitely using your new video as a guide to help me with it) but I'd definitely love to come back to my level 26 as well, even if I just restart this character again, it's a build I was really into. All the bullet time you have access to, the crazy headshot multipliers, the ricochet was so much fun as well. I may have originally even got this build from you as well, I forget. After seeing handguns moved to cool though, and that we have no skills linked to ricochet, I assumed they wanted to kill off the build to make room for new stuff. Would be awesome if it can make a come back, just a bit different though. Would definitely love to see an updated, automatic pistol/headshot/ricochet build, if it's at all possible to do again. PS: so looking forward to the smart SMG's.

Honestly? We really should be allowed to max everything. Yes the potential for brokenness is there but we would kinda deserve it if we grind *that* much to get there. Just picture having to do all those things just for some perk point or small buff. Though I still want to know what to do to level each of those paths. Game doesn’t tell me jack.

I wish these early access people would stop lying about things being better. Health packs are worse and on a cooldown. Cyber ware is FAR worse and again have ridiculous cooldowns. Plus you extreme limitied on what you can equip unless you max out the texh tree wasting both attributes and perks just to use anything worth while. In what way is giving people less l, better? Its not. Its different, definitely not better, and I'd argue worse.

I'm really disappointed that Tech guns got sidelined so badly. Before 2.0 I always just ran with a tech revolver and a shotgun... in 2.0 tech weapons don't seem to synergize all that well with any build at all (and get like 1 talent cluster in the upper right of the tech tree and that's it. The only thing tech weapons do (other than shoot through walls ofc) is leveling up Engineer path.... Even tech revolvers were nerfed to hell by adding charge time to them. My poor Burya.. Until modders get to it, tech weapons are now just gimmicks you can use with the Stalker eyes to shoot alert enemies through walls, but since they lost the talents that made their damage huge, they now lose to any other type of gun in an open fight. Btw can someone explain to me how gaining crafting specs work in 2.0? I feel like I got some by disassembling the weapons but that might be just a feeling. Even with iconics, sometimes you get a weapon outright and sometimes just a crafting spec... when the 21GB PL patch finally finishes downloading I gotta try disassembling my Fenrir to see if I get a crafting spec or if it just gets lost forever.

I really like the new perk system, but it seems like we're gonna end up with just a couple builds at max level. I was kinda hoping it would be a bit more specialized instead of giving so many points to max 3 stats. I wouldve preferred blunt weapons/shotguns, stealth/weapons, cyberware/grenades, ect... be different stats that allow a specialization. Now everybody is essentially a jack of all trades. Which is fun, but i prefer a bit more rpg in my rpg
