Technical and vocational education is the key. Many people don’t know you can earn a certificate for learning hard work. The government should streamline all apprenticeship training to cover all mechanic, tailoring, masonry, hairdressing, Cosmetics, catering, painting, landscaping, phone repairs, electronics, carpentry, electrician etc to an agency under the Ghana education service to be able to award those who learn a trade in those areas. On the job trained professional must be certified or awarded certificate. They should all be captured under the tax system too.
@judifugar79959 ай бұрын
It is ongoing. All is under GH TVET. It will be streamline nicely. I teach at a vocational school.
@FIAlive9 ай бұрын
@@judifugar7995 I was not referring to the school. I meant the artisans, eg. Mechanic aka fitting shops, electrical shops etc. If they have included them, then it's a thumbs up.

My best advice for Afro is that he should try and gather some capital and come back to Ghana to invest sooner than later. Ghana has more opportunities than any country if you have the starting capital. Well spoken Afro.
@multiskilledelectrician1 Жыл бұрын
An uncivilised country that's people who invested with their hard earned money need to beg an incompetent president concerning their pensions, bonds etc? I might return to Ghana but I will put my money 💷 where the government is correct and not in Ghana.
@achiaa6407 Жыл бұрын
Ghana is not safe long-term to invest,there's no safety in that country, my dad invested heavily,now at his old age,most of his assets have been squandered,it's best he invest in the country he's at.
@JimOwusuSekyere Жыл бұрын
@@achiaa6407I can understand your dad’s ordeal but the truth is you can’t be an absentee business person in Ghana. But as far as personal business is concerned I can tell you that it’s worth it than living abroad. It much depends on what you wanna do . I’ve been living in the States for about a decade anyone with biz eye will tell you that Ghana or Africa is the best place to invest your hard earned earned capital.
@JimOwusuSekyere Жыл бұрын
@@benbo7042 The days when people used to live abroad are outliving it’s usefulness. If you don’t have anything to do back home that’s fine but if you’re interested in business stop dreaming about living abroad . There’s no pride and worth in living there . Home is home regardless of the challenges. Let’s come together and find solutions to navigate our way out of the challenges that we see and turn them into opportunities Ben.
