MashaAllah means what Allah willed. Blessing on someone else is the will of Allah so when someone says MashaAllah upon seeing blessings on others, it is a true statement. Recipient of a blessing should say Alhamdulillah. Saying MashaAllah would be accurate as well

Even if we have different opinions about this. Lets still be humble and gentle with other muslim brothers and sisters. It is wrong to say "I am right. You know nothing!" to other muslims who have a different opinion. We send a bad message as muslim if we go for each other's throat. Lets remind ourself that we follow the prophet muhammad sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam ways. In the end Allah azzawajal knows best

@@BillionsMC it's not 'against' the sunnah. The word you meant to say is, it's not 'according' to the sunnah. Something that is against the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) is sinful. Saying MasAllah, in the examples given in the video, are not a sin. There is just a better phrase to say.

The sheikh is correct and it's from the most authentic hadith, but other scholars say that it's also okay to say to others, "MashaAllah, La quwwata illa billah" and it is also accepted. And Allah knows best.

With your own blessings say, Alhamdulillāh or say ما شاء الله لا قوة إلا بالله - maa Shā' ALLĀHu laa quwwata illa billāh (Al-Kahf 18:39). For others always add Bārak ALLĀH fiik/lak/'alaik & do not give evil eyes. Being jealous of other's bounties is a sign of a sick/diseased heart. How dare we question or be displeased with ALLĀH's سبحانه وتعالى Wisdom upon someone else's bounties ???? نسأل الله العافيه

@@eshtiak545 Dua when a person sees something that he likes in order not to harm with the evil eye بَارَكَ الله لَك بَارَكَ الله عَلَيك baarak-allaahu lakbaarak-allaahu ‛alayk The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “If you see something (good) in your brother or yourself or wealth, which you find impressing, then invoke blessings for it, for the evil eye is indeed true.” Say: “O Allah, send blessing upon him.” Note: The Evil Eye means to look at something and be impressed with it, causing harm to befall it. This “looking” may or may not involve jealousy, and can occur unintentionally. A person could even inflict harm upon himself.
