Hey! If this is your first time here then welcome to our KZbin Disney channel. We've done a Reaction Video for the new Haunted Mansion teaser trailer which dropped today. We are huge fans of the Disney Park ride Haunted Mansion (who isn't) and knew that we needed to do a Disney Teaser Trailer reaction to the new haunted mansion 2023 movie. We are both super excited to see the Disney Trailer for the Haunted Mansion film and we would love to hear what you all thought about the Haunted Mansion teaser.

This movie looks like a faithful depiction of the ride. So that is exciting. The sad thing about the older movie was it was not very faithful to the source material. The mansion was not a “character” so to speak. The movie had some nods to the source material, but it was really just a movie about Eddie Murphy being stuck inside a haunted house. It could have been much more than what it was. This ride has a huge following. People hire decorators to decorate their houses to look like the ride. The merchandise sells out all the time at the parks. If they remain true to the source material, fans will love it. Rosario’s character buys the mansion, discovers it’s VERY haunted. She hires a rag tag team of ghost hunters(priest, medium, modern ghost Hunter… etc) to get rid of the ghosts. “Who’s that?” @4:57 that’s the Queen of Horror, Jamie Lee Curtis as Madame Leota. Perfect casting. With a great ghost hunting twist to the story. I am so excited!

I will say that I LOVE The Muppets Haunted Mansion. Definitely reminded me of the ride and I felt so much nostalgia. 😊

1:30 I remember watching the Eddie Murphy one a few times on Disney Channel growing up and it was perfectly fine 🤷🏾‍♀️ it was more funny less scary but I was also a child so my sense of humor probably wasn’t the best lol

3:50 YES! I was curious if any reaction channels would mention that! I love Miss Piggy and needed more Halloween songs for my students so I watched the Muppets Haunted Mansion special and enjoyed it! I assume that special must’ve been an easier way to reintroduce the concept to a new audience before this movie, maybe??

Eh, I’m down. This looks just fun, Owen Wilson and Danny Devito are some of my favorites, and my gf will probably see it for Rosaria since she plays Ahsoka in the Mandalorian series. And Haunted Mansion is one of my favorite rides. I just want a fun scary Disney movie because Hocus Pocus 2 didn’t do it for me.
