It is exactly the functionality that I need, but it is not working on my report. I see on the card that the measure is either 0 or 1 as described. I then added is it as a filter to the table, which says, "Filter (what I called the measure) is 1. Show items when the value is 1" However, the data still shows whether the value of the measure is 0 or 1.

Ensure the field you're using for the slicer is not in your visualization. Just pulled out my hair before finding the solution in another comment on another video. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the video. This technique was applied in a slicer with single hierarchy. I have a slicer with 6 levels of hierachy(level 1 to level 6) placed in single slicer. How can I apply this same technique you have shown for a slicer with more then one hierarchy?

When I apply that field to the filter section that drop down options doesn't expanding and it was expanding when it has dimension value so how could I avoid this problem

it kinda of work on my slicer but i have "select all" on top of my choices. When "select all" is pressed it shows 0 instead of 1. But when any of the choices below "select all" it does work. How can i fix this problem. Thanks.

I've followed along on my own report, I get to the portion where you add in the card to check and see if it's returning 1 or 0 based on the slicers. But when I add the measure as a filter to the visual, it continues to show all data. Is there something I'm missing :(

you didn't put int before isfiltered, it say show all because the output is true and false rather than 1 and 0

I would like to add textbox "Select country to show data" that would disappear after selecting country. But your FilterCheck measure does not work on textboxes or visuals without data. Do you have any idea how to do that?

You don’t need a filter check measure to do that. Write an if statement using isfiltered function which will turn the text you want when country is not selected else return blank.

Hi ,will it work on card visual? ,i have a scenario where i need to see the project modified date on a card,for that when i select the project in slicer ,the date has to appear in card ,if i don't select any project then it has to show blank. When i try this measure ,in filter pane i can't able to select anything ,it is not enabled anything to select as is function in filter .,IS there any solution for that .....hoping the ans soon....
