Did play some Affliction in s3 and it was really fun...on fortified. Tyrannical was an absolute nightmare so i really hope some trinket choices will help out for that in s4. Also having another ramp class with you as dps really helps to make affliction shine. (Not to mention the PI's) Most of em Keys you got Ret/Fury as dps and they just nuke everything before you even got all your Seed casts through. :D Hope i see more of them Affli boys in the future tho, and i do my part by purposely declining every Demo lock!

Really nice ptr videos, nice to see many specs. Just some FYI‘s for affliction. You can’t basically play without Siphon Life, because your single target suffers way too much (as seen here) and the single target is already bad without Dread Touch (big affliction problem, choosing between aoe and st=bad design) Also soul flame was way stronger in S1, it got nerfed in S2 or end of S1

Glorious to see. Lemme first say if you ignore this and change nothing, i’ll still happily watch your content because i love what you’re putting out. This is just me talking as an aff enjoyer. That said, siphon life and haunt are only for bosses or true prio mobs with big health tbh. Malefic rapture is worth using over seed in aoe when you have an average of 4 dots per target, typically only in scenarios with 4 and less targets during soul rot and vile taint windows. If you had siphon life with this build, your single target would be noticeably better from stronger raptures (although i wonder how valuable corruption damage was with absolute corruption through the whole dungeon)

is it really more dam to just spam seed of corruption on AoE packs than it is to just cast seed ONE time, then spam malefic with dots up? ive never seen someone use seed of corruption back to back or cast it more than once (referring to first couple pulls). new tech?

how are you using details in PTR? I tried to copy my whole addons folder in the same path within _ptr_/Interface/Addons and it doesn't work

Compared to Destro and Demo how does Affliction look in keys atm on the PTR if you aren't doing insane pulls? From the looks of it, it looks like they only shine if they are atlest 10 targests.

Showing AFF in best dungeon for him, In S1 AFF lock was viable only in AA, show others dungs... I like playing AFF but till they dont redesing re-apply of Agony timing i woud not touch him but he seem fine-aplly

are you sure you're not just pressing burning rush while it's still on gcd? I can turn mine off even at 400 ping. I just need to wait a little longer than I usually would before I push the key again

Algethar has always been an aff dungeon since S1, but 1 dungeon wont pull it up from F tier sadly. Aff wont get good until they seperate doom blossom from dread touch. Such a huge impact on aoe vs ST on just 1 talent. Demo barely lose anything on ST dam for picking aoe talents

Aff destroys Demo in mass AoE, which season 4 has a ton of. Aff scales better than Demo so it will close the gap if not overtake Demo in ST. Demo scales the worst in all 3 specs and will likely be the weakest of the 3 specs in full gear but still really strong regardless.

First room, as destro, Kalamazi in similar gear was doing 5mil to your 3mil dps, without having to give up nearly all of his single target damage. Aff is dead.
