Hutson was born 1 year before WW1 started. It is both cool to have that kind of history in our franchise, but also takes actual study to learn it all and keep it in mind. BTW if you want a good book about WW1, I highly recommend The Guns of August. Learning about the past is key to understanding the present and future, and is interesting, regardless of what Andy the History Major says 😛

Need inside and outide rushers. One thing Id like to see that i thought we would have was on obvious passing down more Gary and LVM rushing up the middle. Could rush Cooper of edge. Giants killed Patriots with 4 DE lines in super bowl. ​@JJB_80_815

Osa Odighizuwa's DL coach at UCLA was Vince Oghobaase, now the Packers Assistant defensive line coach, for two seasons (2018-19)

Team needs difference makers. Very deep DT draft class. Could see Gutey double dipping esp if Slaton is gone. Kenny may have a bounce back year if he's playing next to a stud DT. Coming from AFC, wonder if DL coach Covington has some suggestions.

Thank you for the breakdown of these 2 DT free agents and I agree with you on the value! I tend to shy away from DTs that are below average in run defense because against the best teams in the playoffs (Lions, Eagles) it's SO much harder to win a game if they can get 4-5 easy yards right through the middle of your defense. I'm also wary of any free agents that come out of Dallas. The Cowboys are the most "entertainment industry" franchise in the NFL. With a LOT of media focus I believe that it also over hypes their players and can actually make the players themselves believe the hype over reality. What happens when they don't get that love that they are used to? Has any Dallas Cowboys player actually performed to the same level or above AFTER leaving the Cowboys in the last 20 years? I kinda think that the well is poisoned in Dallas, or something to that affect.

One thing that went unmentioned here is that he's a former Lion... There's a reason the other NFC north teams are littered with former Packers. If we want to beat the Lions it'd be easier to buy part of their playbook and secrets.

No need to apologize Andy, I hadn’t heard of Hutson until watching this video. His last season was 1945, 80 years ago!! Definitely a great player but several ages ago. If we get Edge, DT and OL right this season, can move off of Clark, Gary and Jenkins and save $60M on the cap from those 3. If they stay, contracts will need to be adjusted which will also free up cap space.

@@amberlinas They have to prove that this season and if they do, we would need to extend their contracts. If they are not, the team will pick up players to replace them this season and if not, they will have to for 2026.

Both Osa Odighizuwa and Milton Williams would be 2 technique under tackles in the Green Bay Packers’ 4-3 defense. On one hand, that would allow Kenny Clark to play nose tackle full-time. On the other, it would mean that they would probably need to be spelled on rushing downs. Levi Onwuzurike is more of an every-down player but placed on the injured reserve in September with a back injury that required surgery. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

I’m good on vet DT this year. Play season out. Draft a guy. My plan is to add an edge. And get Tae if cut. Trade LVN Doubs Willis Jaire and 3rd round pick, 2026 pick for Maxx Crosby and a 6 to the Raiders. They need a qb. Get a solid WR. Young edge to go with Wilson. And Jaire is still a good option at corner. Trade back few spots in draft.
