Using one of these characters you enter a hostile world, filled with oddities, talking pigs, giant spiders, tree monsters (Tree guards), the deerclops, giant geese, or moose depending on how you look at it, and much more! I use the Smart Crockpot mod, which allows me to predict the result of whatever I'm cooking. I barely need it anymore but it saved me from a lot of Wet Goops back in the day.

Here's the script.* Hi, this is Keyboard voicing for Edgy Rick's video: The Crockpot, most of this video will be very similar to the Don't Starve Wiki page EXCEPT there will be no shipwrecked recipes, there will be a link to the crockpot's wiki page in the description. So, a crockpot is made with three cut stone, six charcoal, and six twigs. Now, if you haven't made one before you may think "Why would I make that, that's a lot of stuff", but it is extremely useful, it can turn many foods into better versions, this will be the complete guide to it. This is going to be a very long guide, so on the page you are seeing right now will be a page with whatever part you want to learn about! These include; Usage, food categories, valid and invalid ingredients, food values, priority, and crock pot recipes. Usage: Four food items are placed in the crock pot, then cooked, what is placed in determines what comes out. It will then take some time to cook, usually 10-20 seconds. It will then come out with a crock pot dish, or wet goop. Food Categories: There are meats, monster foods, fish, eggs, fruits, vegetables, sweeteners, fillers, and dairy. Note that some foods are in two categories, such as monster meat, which is a monster food, and a meat. Valid ingredients: Meats, raw or cooked, monster foods, raw or cooked, fish, these vary based off cooking, eggs, raw or cooked, fruits, raw or cooked, vegetables, raw or cooked, dairy, sweeteners, twigs, mandrake, butterfly wings, roasted birchnuts, and moleworm. Invalid ingredients: rot, seeds, raw or cooked, petals and dark petals, this includes the garland, rotten eggs and hatching tallbird eggs, cooked mandrake, koalefant trunks, raw or cooked, deerclops eyeball, guardian's horn, batilisk wing raw or cooked, leafy meat, raw or cooked, foliage, lightbulbs, glow berries, birchnuts, only when raw. On top of this, turkey dinner, mandrake soup, melonsicle, and guacamole only accept raw versions of food. Food values: This defines how potent a food is for a certain food category. Here's how each food affects each category, keep in mind jerky versions and cooked versions of these count the same: Meats: 0.5s are; morsel, drumstick, frog legs, fish, eels, and moleworms. 1s are; meat, monster meat. fish: fish, and eels are 1s. fruit: 0.5s; berries. 1s; pomegranate, durian, dragon fruit, cave bananas, watermelons. vegetable: 0.5s; all mushrooms, 1s; carrots, corn, pumpkin, eggplant, lichen, cactus,and cactus flowers. eggs: 1s; egg 4s; tallbird egg dairy; 1s; milk and butter. Priority: Priority determines which dish will come out of the crockpot if two recipes share an outcome, higher means it will come out instead of the lower priority dish, each dish has an assigned priority.

Crock pot recipes: These will be sorted by priority in the crockpot! Unagi (Un-ag-ee) This is made requiring one eel and one lichen, it heals 20, provides 18.8 hunger, gives 5 sanity, rots in 10 days, cooks in 10 seconds, and has a priority of 20, making it the highest priority out of all non-shipwrecked dishes. Powdercake: This is made requiring one corn, one honey, and one twig. It hurts for 3 damage, provides 0 hunger, provides 0 sanity, lasts 18,750 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, it is an excellent bait due to the 18,750 day spoiling time. Mandrake soup: Made requiring one mandrake; it heals 100, provides 150 hunger points, provides 5 sanity, lasts 6 days, takes 60 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10. It is essentially the best food in the game, and is also unrenewable. Fishsticks: This requires 0.5 fish, and one stick, it heals 40, provides 37.5 hunger, provides 5 sanity, rots in 10 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, it has a priority of 10, keep in mind it has a maximum of 1 stick for this recipe. Fish Tacos: Requires one fish and one corn, it heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, provides 5 sanity, rots in 6 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and its priority is 10, do not make this, it is easier and better to make fish sticks in 99% of situations! Bacon and Eggs: requires 1.5x meat, and 2.0x eggs, it heals 20, provides 75 hunger, provides 5 sanity, rots in 20 days,cooks in 40 seconds, has a priority of 10, this is an extremely easy recipe to make with monster meat and a bird cage. No vegetables in this recipe! Guacamole: Requires a cactus flesh, and a mole, heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, does nothing to sanity, rots in 10 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, there can not be any fruits in this recipe! Flower Salad: Requires a cactus flower, and two vegetables, it heals 40, provides 12.5 hunger, and provides 5 sanity, it rots in 6 days, cooks in 10 seconds, and has a priority of 10, you can not use fruit, meats, eggs, sweeteners, or twigs in this recipe. Ice cream: Takes 1x dairy, 1x ice, 1x sweetener (honey), it doesn't heal or hurt, provides 25 hunger, and provides 50 sanity, it rots in 3 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10,There can not be meats, eggs, vegetables, or twigs, it is great for sanity but difficult to make. Turkey Dinner: Requires 2 UNCOOKED drumsticks, 0.5x meat, and 0.5x vegetables or fruits, it heals 20, provides 75 hunger, provides 5 sanity, rots in 6 days, takes 60 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, it is almost never a good idea to make this, as the parts are greater than the whole. Taffy: Requires 3 sweeteners, it hurts 3, provides 25 hunger, and provides 15 sanity, rots in 15 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10. There can not be any meats in this recipe. Waffles: Takes 1 butter, 1 eggs, and 1 berry, It heals 60, provides 37.5 hunger, and provides 5 sanity, rots in 6 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, this is another recipe where the parts are better than the whole usually, however there are some uses for it. Pumpkin cookies: Takes 1 pumpkin, 2 sweeteners, it heals none, gives 37.5 hunger, and gives 15 sanity, this is a good sanity restoring recipe. Melonsicle: Takes one watermelon, one ice, and one twig, it heals 3, provides 12.5 hunger, and provides 20 sanity, it also has an additional perk of cooling you down, it can not be made with meats, eggs, or vegetables. Monster Lasagna: Requires 2.0x monster food, it hurts 20, provides 37.5 hunger, and hurts sanity 20, rots in 6 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, no twigs can be used in this recipe, it is a horrible recipe to make, although webber does not get hurt by the downsides. Trail mix: Requires one roasted birchnut, one berry, and 0.5x fruits, it heals 30, provides 12.5 hunger, and 5 sanity, it rots after 15 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, it can not have meats, eggs, vegetables, or dairy in the recipe, it is great for healing. Spicy chili: Requires 1.5x vegetables, and 1.5x meats, it heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, doesn't do anything to sanity, rots in 10 days, takes 10 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 10, it has a special ability of warming you up. Kabobs: Requires 0.5x meats, and 1 stick, it heals 3, provides 37.5 hunger, and gives 5 sanity, it rots after 15 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 5, it can take a maximum of 1 stick and 1 monster food, it is better to make meatballs than this, due to meatballs being easier to make and giving more hunger. Pierogi: Takes 1.0x eggs, 0.5x meat, and 0.5x vegetables, it heals 40, gives 37.5 hunger, and 5 sanity, rots in 20 days, takes 20 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 5, no sticks in this recipe, this is personally my favorite recipe, it seems hard to make until you bring lichen into the equation. Honey ham: Requires 2.0x meat and 1.0x honey, it heals 30, provides 75 hunger, and 5 sanity, rots in 15 days, cooks for 40 seconds, and has a priority of 2, no sticks can be used in this recipe. Honey Nuggets: Requires 0.5x meat and 1.0x honey, it heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, and 5 sanity, rots in 15 days, cooks for 40 seconds, and has a priority of 2. Less than 2.0x meat must be used or it will come out with honey ham, and no twigs can be used. Jelly beans: Requires 1 royal jelly, and the recipe produces 3 jelly beans, it heals 122 over 2 minutes, provides 0 hunger, and provides 5 sanity, it never rots, takes 50 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 2, twigs and monster meat can not be used in this recipe. Butter muffin: Requires one butterfly wing, and 0.5x vegetables, it heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, and provides 5 sanity, it rots after 15 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 1. No meats are allowed in this recipe. Froggle Bunwich: Requires 1x frog legs, and 0.5x vegetables, it heals 20, provides 37.5 hunger, and 5 sanity, it rots in 15 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, and a priority of 1. Dragonpie: Requires 1 dragonfruit, it heals 40, provides 75 hunger, and 5 sanity, rots after 15 days, cooks for 40 seconds, it has a priority of one, and it cannot have meats in the recipe. Stuffed Eggplant: Requires 1 eggplant, and 0.5x vegetables, it heals 3, provides 37.5 hunger, and 5 sanity, it rots in 15 days, takes 40 seconds to cook, and has a priority of 1. This recipe is not very good and provides poor results for cooking time. Hey Edgy, I found a use for basic farms! But you'll need a birdcage. If you plant seeds on a basic farm and get a dragon fruit, feed it to your bird and he'll give you more dragon fruit seeds back! Then you can only plant dragonfruit seeds and give them to the bird, and the rest you can use for dragonpies!

Good video, although I have a few sugestions if you don't mind: -I would add more information on screen of what you are saying, like numbers, names and pictures ( 2:37 - 3:53 ) -About recipes, you clearly made them right, but there're easier ways to achive the same. Like using ICE in most of the recipes, or mushrooms when it comes to vegetables. I personally find better playing this way, specially on a group, since you can make more food with less. For instance: -Honey for mandrake soup can be replaced with ice (1 mandrake + 3 ice) - 1 fish + 1 stick + 2 ice makes the same as 3 fish + 1 stick - Turkey dinner is kinda may fav :( - Taffy can be made with 3 honey + 1 ice, instead of 4 honey. This way you can save 1 honey each recipe, and in 3 you get an extra one :D -pierogi can be made with 1 egg + 1 monster meat + 1 ice + 1 mushroom. It's the easier for me -butter muffin can be 1 + butterfly + 1 carrot (or mushroom if you have a lot) + 2 ice -same in the sandwich, replace the berries for ice and you get the same That would be all :) good video and loved all the crockpots showing each fridge a recipe :D

Nice, like the guide. will you do a guide about the unique ruins rush? I would like to see it! Seems pretty useful as I only start going to the ruins during summer. EDIT: mandrake soup is renewable for now. Because if you sleep under a Christmas tree, a present appears, and the present has a chance to contain a pan flute. Using a deconstruction staff (you also get green gems from the present sometimes for this item) on the flute gives you 1 mandrake. So there, you can super inefficiently renew the mandrake soup.

My favourite recipes are meat balls (you can use 1 monster meat and 3 berries / eggs /ice) and honey nuggets (1 monster meat and 3 honey) to recover hunger, fish sticks (fish, begetables, 1 stick) to recover health, frog sanwich is also good, and plane cooked green / blue mushroom for sanity

There should be an item in the game called a "Mandrake Shrine" that spawns a new mandrake every 40-50 days. So that at least they're renewable. I'm sure people would rather wait then waste materials on a construction staff and the staff of deconstruction every time their panflute reached 10% durability or they needed a quick easy heal for a boss fight. I personally don't have any friends so I play in the DST world by myself, which can be a bit of a challenge when everything wants to kill you so badly they multiply their health and attack.

It already exists, it's called a "Klaus Sack" and respawns every winter, with a chance to give you a mandrake. Also, the great thing about DST is that unlike other games enemies attack eachother, they usually aren't just out to kill you, they're out to kill everything.
