2:35 Everyone’s talking about how cute Webber pulling away Walter from the “danger” is (as they should), but no one has mentioned how adorable (and funny) Wes pantomiming a box to hide behind is! Also I want to say that I love seeing the kids and Wes together! I’ve imagined them having campfire stories together almost exactly like this, and I love that there’s now an animated video of it! I can really see the thought and effort in this, and love all the little details!! We did get to see that Pig Houses were bigger on the inside in then the Outside in the Hamlet DLC. Walter telling a story that everyone likely has experienced before is just an absolute treat, hence why no one likely was scared of it initially.

You can really feel the trauma in this one. The group listening to Walter's story isn't afraid, not because they don't believe him, but because they have seen so much worse that monster stories - especially ones regarding the Pigmen, which they're surely familiar with the patterns of - simply aren't scary anymore. And when they run, it's not the way a child fears every sound after one such scary story, but the way a survivor flees to recognized havens at a sign of danger, almost an automatic response. Even Wes, as exposed as he looks, is doing something that has worked for him before. And you'll notice... it IS actually a full moon.

Ive had the idea for a while that when pets fall into the ocean, they get lifted up back to land by a shadow hand that pats their head and then disappears back under the water.
