Once, an enemy Ion put down a tripwire, but I stayed a bit out of the tripwire’s range to shoot at the Ion (as a pilot), but a random grunt on my team ran into it and triggered it, killing me and the grunt.

You can spam trip wires if you use zero point energy as ions kit. Personally that’s what I use as tripwires as useful in nearly every scenario.

Difference between counter strike, Minecraft etc is that with those games you just download the software to host servers and run it on a computer of your own. Whereas Titanfall they're all centralised, run on computers owned by probably EA. It's a shame because private servers are by far one of the best things for the longevity of an online game, because then it's not dependent on the goodwill of a publisher keeping servers up.
