Nice work. Have you ever tried the Vic Firth Buddy Rich sticks? I have found (for the last 16 years) that I can get more power, more lift, blending and speed with them. With most other sticks, I have to work too hard to do what I want, and with rheumatoid arthritis that kicked in badly in the past two, they definitely help, as compared to other sticks. I also have used Mapex drum for the last 20 some odd years. First kit was a used M Birch kit that I bought from my nephew, who quit after a short time. lol. For the last 13 years, it's been a Mapex Black Panther Velvetone. Sabian cymbals for the last 20 years.
