Pro tip: after the hand soap, you should use distilled vinegar to get rid of any soap residue. Otherwise, great video. :)

Hello. Can you recommend a compact moss which will grow - on wood - in a dart frog tank?

I found some floating charm glass pendants that are deeper than normal (about half an inch deep and one inch in diameter). Do you think a small terrarium pendant could be made in these? What restrictions would there be on a terrarium that is used as jewelry? Would you be up for making a video putting together a tiny terrarium in a small jewelry enclosure like that as an example / inspiration?

I love these and those in spice pots, otherwise trash. the date and batch number, do you leave it? it can usually be erased with rubbing alcohol or isopropyl..

Question: my closed terrarium is doing fine but the sides of the container are collecting so much water that I can’t see into it. Do you know how to stop that?

You can't stop it, it's the natural process which is necessary for the plants inside. But what you can do is open it once in a while and wipe the glass, and if your plants have grown too much you need to trim/prune it as well

Nail polish remover works wonders on sticker glue.

terrariums usually don't have any inhabitants other than clean up crew such as springtails or isopods (which aren't necessary but help fight mould issues). What you're thinking of is a vivarium :)

I don't believe he does, but SerpaDesign has a video on propagating moss. It's quite simple, however, all you need is a humid environment and a thin substrate layer since moss doesn't root very deep at all (its also recommended to chop the moss up into smaller pieces to promote faster and denser growth). If you're foraging for moss outdoors, don't take a lot and don't be let down if it doesn't grow well, not every moss species is made for terrarium-like environments :)

nope, you can use any container that keeps the humidity levels up. Glass is often used because its harder to scratch and warps less :)

just a heads up you maybe shouldn’t rub WD40 (or stuff like goo-gone) with your bare hands often bc it’s a solvent and can be carcinogenic 😭
