My brother and I use to get in trouble with our dad about the TV especially when we were being punished and couldn't watch it. When you said about how guys would go a feel if the TV was warm to know if the celly been watching it had me crackin up. LOL!!!!! Brung back some childhood memories.

The last 10 years I was in prison I worked in recreation which meant I was gone most of the day, If my celly did not have a TV i would let him watch mine as long as he treated it like his own. In the evenings I sat back and relaxed . Guards did not really say anything about headphones if your celly did not have a TV as long as it wasnt too loud

I remember watching Bill Feezy's channel a while back and listening to that story he told about the time he was early into his sentence and he witnessed two lifers blinding the unit bully who was also a lifer. Blinded him with bleach and then stabbed and beat the man to death. Over the T.V.

That seems so petty to not want your own cell partner to watch your TV while you are in the cell with them. Of course everything is designed for one reason in prison. They want to see the fights between prisoners because the objective is to get rid of as many as they can but not by their hand. It's sad but so true.
