I actually made a translation note about that in the description. My translator said it can be seen as a double meaning in the Kanji so we just went with the title drop. Glad ya enjoyed it though. ^^

I only noticed recently that the chorus going "Easy Love!" and then "Night Date!" in Japanese sounds like "Ijira" and "Naide!" Which sounds exactly like the actual title's command word of "Ijiranaide!" or "Don't toy with me!" There are lots of interesting interpretations in that if you ask me. I also love how well you captured the song's energy and style. Although if I may be honest, your voice sounds a bit closer to Gamo-chan's than Nagatoro's, which sounds a bit different, but it's interesting both ways. Thanks for putting so much effort into these and making them so good! :)

@@dmytrokuznetsov7740 Well yes but actually no. Her full name is Gamou Maki yes, but considering Nagatoro is her friend, she's using a shortened nickname, hence Gamou-chan turns into Gamo-chan. You can catch this if you listen to Nagatoro pronounce her name during the show. She says it with a short 'o' vowel, not a lengthened one.

To explain it, Senpai and Nagotoro both akward teenagers who have opposite approaches to love. Neither of them have genuine experience but Hayase goes over the top and does theatrics to hide how inexperienced she is while senpai is legitimately shy and is trying to find out how to find out what Nagotoro wants.

I love how the heavier, louder parts of the song's melody match up with the more aggressive, flippant, and borderline combative lyrics (ex. 1:14, 3:00, 4:00) whereas the sweeter, softer and more poignant parts of the melody get assigned more sentimental, gentle and beautifully romantic lyrics (ex. 0:53/2:17, 3:53). This song is so well-thought out and is such a brilliant representation of Nagatoro and her behavior and feelings towards the MC lol. Amazing cover!

It’s amazing as to how the lyrics in the song somehow perfectly match up to what the show is about. With a lot of other anime intros, the lyrics themselves seem at best loosely tied to the show.
