Hi Raksha. I am enjoying your vlog because it is bringing back the sweet memories of my recent travel to UZ in September 2022. I loved the country. It's people, their hospitality and love they show. Ever since I have been back from Uzbekistan, believe me I am always looking for vlogs from various travel channels regarding UZ in particular and also other central Asian countries. My next destination hopefully will be Kazakhstan. Keep traveling. Travel is the the best way to understand other cultures. Nothing else replaces the Unlimited experience one achieves via travel. Hey, Raksha! I didn't know about you until the previous week, and stumbled upon your channel quite randomly when KZbin's algorithm detected I was researching a lot on Uzbekistan. I have been meaning to visit Uzbekistan since before the pandemic, but some information but some vital deets were missing. First off, you are amazing! Your stories on traveling solo, and smashing the society's idea of ideal life are two most important aspects of life that I resonate with, too. This particular video, and the rest on Uzbekistan that you have uploaded are enough for even someone hearing about the country for the first time plan their travel there. The manner in which you have narrated your journey and experiences through a montage of images and videos, and your blog, is commendable. I now have almost everything I need to finalise my trip, barring a couple of small details for which I might get in touch with separately. Thank you once again, and keep inspiring us! ❤

You are welcome 🤗 and thank you :) Khiva is more untouched than Bukhara since it's far away. I would suggest to visit Khiva if you have the time. I'm not sure about the prices though as I didn't go to Aral Sea. Usually guesthouses organise a day trip to Khiva so you can check there. It's going to a very long day going to Aral Sea though.

Hey Raj.. if you don't mind the cold, then there's no problem visiting during this time. Although I believe you need 10 days to cover all the 4 main cities of Uzbekistan and really justify spending time in each of them. If you are short on time, you could visit Samarkand and Bukhara as the attractions here are architecturally different and they are not too far from each other.

Hi, can you please tell from where to get currency exchange in Uzbekistan? As we are directly traveling to Bukhara first from airport?
@TheRovingHeart Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure in Bukhara. Sometimes, you can pay through USD (the taxi drivers charge a little more in this case) or you can withdraw money through your Forex card somewhere close to the airport. A more hassle-free option is to book an airport transfer to your hotel and then check with the hotel staff on where to exchange money (this way you get the best rates)

Hey there! I collected all the registration slips from all the stays but they didn't ask me about it. I crossed the border 3 times. And I wasn't asked any of these times. However, I heard a fellow traveler was asked. And if you don't have it, there could be problems. So it's either a hit or a miss.
