You know Roblox *failed* their job when they _admitted_ that they *banned* him for a model from the toolbox. Roblox doesn't even bother to properly moderate the toolbox to begin with. This is exactly the same way my old Roblox account got terminated. It happened about 2 years ago, in 2021. I was making a game and because I didn't have a lot of experience on Roblox Studio I used a lot of free models from the toolbox (which was a huge mistake). And when I tried to appeal I got a reply that was nearly completely identical to the one shown here at 2:53. And when it said that the game contained some "Ant UTG" commands thing then I knew something wasn't right. I had no idea what it was (I actually still didn't know what it was until I watched this video today), but I knew that I never added those in the game. I tried searching on KZbin what it was at the time, but nothing came up. I kept searching but it looked like barely anyone made videos back then regarding this issue. I was frustrated, but there was nothing I could do about it. One of the only reasons I created that game in the first place was because I wanted to earn a bit of robux (Keep in mind that robux donation games like "Pls Donate" or "Starving Artists" were not a thing back then). And one of my favorite TV shows was trending at the time, so I figured that I'd make a game that was based off that. And a few people actually started playing it. But because I trusted free models on the toolbox and was unaware that they could contain malicious scripts, soon after that it was the end of that game. So, yeah. I don't make games anymore, and I'm not planning to, but now if I would then I'd definitely not use other people's models from the toolbox ever again and instead I'd just make my own. Just don't use free models from the toolbox at all (even if they look innocent!) because it's very very very highly likely that it would contain a bad script that could get you falsely terminated. So yeah. Stay safe guys.

I remember the grab knife. It's a type of knife model that has heaps of history on ROBLOX. I don't completely remember the game, but it basically involved adults and kids kidnapping each other via holding a knife to their throats and stuff. 2013 was wild. But yeah, after that game grab knife's have been pretty bannable. Including them in your game via just executing them through the roblox console can get you banned. Pretty serious.

As far as i know, the Grab Knife was one of the tools that the ultimate trolling gui had (UTG) and it was a tool that made your character kidnap someone with a knife in his neck

As a Roblox developer, you MUST look through EVERY part in the model you take from the Toolbox. Always have the Explorer tab open. If a script says “require(), thats usually a red flag

Not everyone is a Roblox developer. Not everyone is experienced enough to read through the scripts and be able to understand it. As Shark has said in the video, innocent kids could get their account banned by something that isn't their fault simply by inserting a free model into their game. The easy solution is for roblox to hire a separate moderation team for the toolbox, but they wont cause they're money hungry.

Another stupid thing is that they specify how you got banned more properly, they just say stuff like you got banned for inappropriate stuff, they don’t specify what item was it, I also got my main permanently terminated due to a free box model which contained inappropriate stuff inside the box, and I didn’t even import that box, my friend did cuz they were too curious and tested thinking it was just some damn box, AND they only allow you to appeal for your account back ONCE ONLY, which is kinda stupid when you don’t know what you got banned for and they didn’t more specifically specify why you got banned, I wish they will make it so you can appeal more than once

Grab Knife is a script that requires a model e.g. require(model number here) it shows some rather graphic animations where the character has a knife and kills them in a really awful way with blood spilling everywhere.

The best way to do with a situation like this is just to double click the script before knowing was or not a virus, and you can find some catchy assets on it, you'd remove it quickly, but roblox never listens, so goodluck on those who is ever uses the toolbox and have a good day.

Information about 3:05 / Explaining Ant UTG and Grab Knife Ant UTG (aka. Ant's Ultimate Trolling GUI) is a fork of the original UTG. Ant's version offers other functions and "abilities", which are more and less against the TOS of Roblox. "Grab Knife" is an old script, that has got used for exploiting. What does it do? You can basically grab your knife, and you can kidnap other players with it, which makes the knife hold close to their throat. In that section, there were multiple actions. Free them, Push them away, or obviously "kill" them. In later versions, new actions got added like zombify. But why should it be a reason for termination? As there are multiple, different versions of "Grab Knife" (for example v3 and v4), there was also a "Full Version", that was only accessible by short of said: Owning the game. But what makes the difference between v4 and the full version? The full version had on one side more utility and features. From the normal knife to katana and explosives. Seems normal for now or is there a catch? Yes, there is a catch, because there was one "Mode" that replaced your knife with a huge D*ldo, which represented the features of that mode easily (The way of attacking players also changed to "it's obvious use"). I hope this helps some people understand it, even if my English isn't that great.

I recommend if you wanna still use free models to: -check for scripts ( if the model is _meant to be decorative_ remove it the second you find it ) -try to find suspicous parts ( if for some reason the left to right slider is too large it probably means it has something _sketchy_ ) -dont place sketchy ones ( _sometimes_ the like to dislike ratio can help ) Do note that there are probably more things to be aware of, but this is all i got for now, stay safe!

free model = virus thats has been in my brain since 2022 when my roblox account was banned because of using "Kasper" ss and i imported into my game after like a week or 4 days it was banned (i actually thought i got banned without a reason but i just found out it myself for months) and since i have bad english and has the unconvincing reason ever made.. A thing you could do is select the model and search “Script” if there are any scripts in it it might be a virus. Stay safe out there!

its not like free models have sneaky scripts hacked into the model or something,people should remove all sus stuff from the models,or atleast check the scripts inside. i always find weird welds and weird symbols,and just delete it. or,just use a virus plugin. be careful when using free models. also yes,this has happened to me once. i had a game where i inserted UTG on purpose. yes,on purpose. i used to be a fan of trolling and scripts and stuff. luckily,my acc only got banned for 7 days,but my game was permanently shut down. it was a bad game i made years ago and had nothing interesting on it,so it ain't really important.

Oh... That's the thing how I got terminated. When i asked the support they said I had a "Grab Knife" function, with the same moderator note of being inappropriate. I talked about everything in the support ticket, and they unbanned me. As a developer, I warn everyone, it is dangerous to use free models right now, and it always was. Stay safe!

I think about my old main account everyday. The user name is Scoplus and I had so many things there in games I played a lot and I got deleted one day and on the ban message it doesn't specify why, it just says it's about one of my games, and back when I was on that account, I was stupid and used the UTG multiple times in games and it was okay at first, but I'm guessing one day roblox caught on and started deleting players for using it, but I was young and didn't understand any of that. Now I'm 16 and I still try to send mails to roblox every single day about getting my account back and they never even care. This is part of why I want the worst for ROBLOX. They can't care less that I was deleted so unfairly. They didn't even care to tell me exactly what I did wrong, and it wasn't my fault either like I didn't know some random thing like that would get my account just straight up deleted. Idk what to do, I need my account back it's been 4 years since I lost it now or maybe 5. Anyone have advice? btw the ban message on my account is exactly what is shown at 1:46. It doesn't specifcy at all and stupid roblox won't let me have my acc back after 4 years

Grab Knife, Specifically Grab Knife V4 has an inappropriate function which is why he got banned, roblox handled it very poorly though just like how they yoinked 100 robux for an arsenal vip server from me and then failed to give me the money back or the vip server. Their support overall sucks

Ultimate Trolling GUI is a script gui that exploiters use, Grab Knife is a script that is banned by roblox, for containing innapropriate stuff. Thats why people get banned for using it. There are alot of UTG variations, from ant's utg, it depends on the creator.
