Now there’s a battle pass, three different types of mastery camos, new guns and blueprints dropping every other couple days, etc. On BO1, if I stopped playing for months, the only thing that would change about the game would be the addition of some new DLC packs to the store. If you stop playing for months on the newer games, it’s basically a new game by the time you come back.

My suggestion for zombie players (primarily if you’re a high round player): Aether Shroud first, Mutant Injection or Chopper Gunner, I also unlocked Kazimir. Thats all you need to go to high rounds in terms of level unlocks.

I’m camo grinding, I used my perma unlocks on gunfighter wildcard (3 extra attachments) because those extra attachments can help a lot for recoil and damage so headshots are easier, and also stims because 3 kills without dying is easier if you heal. But my third prestige I’m definitely getting ghost, then I can have all blue perks at level 6, which is definitely op

i feel the same. just pick a relatively strong gun that you unlock at an early level and roll with that until you unlock everything else. that's how i've been doing it since og mw2. haven't been able to play too much of the new game but the C9 slapped for the smg category until i was able to unlock the jackal, and its the first thing you get access to. as for the ARs i have yet to use one that feels better than the ames. my unlock tokens will be going to perk greed and ghost, the rest i'll just save for zombies unlocks

I used my first one on Perk Greed Wild Card, not using any on a single weapon because eventually there will be a weapon blueprint for every weapon. And plus more time spent learning the starting weapons so it'll make it easier when I go to the next Prestige. If you learn how to use every weapon you won't be crippled if you lose the meta weapons everyone else is using.

I recommend tarting with wildcards. Or individual perks. While camo grinding you’ll naturally lvl up so it makes no sense to unlock guns with it if you’ll get them while grinding camos for others. You could also go for stumps as there kinda op atm but it depends entirely on your playstyle. I’m about to enter prestige 3 as a reference.

Personally i took the perk which let you put 8 attachtment on your gun cause everytime i accidentally go to core i feel like my guns are shooting peas😅 hence why i only play hc for camo grinding. Good tip also is to save your xp doublers for new prestige and go to zombies to grind out the first 15-20 levels to unlock wild cards/ ninja and other useful stuff in like a hour with xp doublers.

Used mine on stims lmao. Ive hated playing cod without stims since bo4. Flashes and stuns are lame, i dont need help winning the fight, i need help resetting fir the next one. Also if you do the camos smart, you dont need to perma unlock one. I did all ARs and Snipers before hitting full Level 55. I made sure to finish off diamond on the snipers while i got to the as val so I dont have to level again for those. Then i did all smgs gold while I did diamond for ars at the same time. Finished all diamond smgs before as val. Keep in mind i was able to do all that before being ready to prestige again even with 2x xp weekend and playing a decent amount of zombies

What he’s saying is, don’t use your perma-unlock on guns bc if you get a blueprint then that gun is permanently unlocked anyways. For example, you use your token to permanently unlock the VAL but season 1 gives you a blueprint for the VAL. Now you wasted your perma-unlock for that prestige bc if you just waited you would’ve permanently unlocked the VAL through the blueprint anyways & could’ve used your token on something else.

I only use it on the guns that take the most levels to get to, for example: every AR takes about 7 to 9 levels to get to, except for the Model L, which takes about 15 after getting the GPR. This way, you can easily use each AR and grind the camos out while getting enough xp to unlock the next one at the same time, and prevent having to level up so many times in between getting the GPR and getting the Model L. If you know what I mean

Never spend a perma unlock token on a wall buy weapon like the as val. Tacticals, field upgrades, weapon mods and certain scorestreaks are what you want to unlock. Setting a zombies build will allow you to always get the same attatchments on the weapon when bought from a wallbuy or random box, these zombies builds stay active when when you prestige and have the weapon locked. Chopper gunners are great for exfils, mutant injectors are great for clearing out groups of elites and can clear high waves no problem (when playing solo), decoys will let you always be able to distract enemies to revive someone or just move a horde away to a specific spot for a moment when doing something like sam trials or the water valve on liberty falls. Healing aura is a no brainer if you play with others. Kazimirs or monkeys are also great for sam trials and reviving others. Ammo mods can easily take out hordes, specials and in some cases one shot elites. Unlock something that supplements your weapon
