You have the finest humor in the whole world. Is it France, Spain, Portugal? Never mind. I learn a lot about simplicity with your channel.

Really nice video. I really like they way you connected the dots with so many ideas in such a nice visual way. I found that seeing accumulate function helped my understanding. It's really great to see not only the input and output but also a peak at the intermediate outputs which we as beginners might have difficulty imagining. 10/10

Very cool video Bruno! For what it's worth, I agree that for "mathy" people, functional programming is closer to our heart ..... or R over Python :-)

i love this! how did you get Rstudio set up in vim or neovim? any chance you can make a video for super super beginners on how to set up or vim to do this? it would be awesome!

Hi, this is actually not Rstudio, but spacemacs, a distribution of emacs that mimics vim. It uses the ESS plugin to interact with R. You can read more about it here: www.brodrigues.co/blog/2019-05-19-spacemacs/ and also watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opbVfWNqaKmKiMk

bro - can you get a higher quality mic?? great content! Just very hard to make out.

I've bought one because of you, and it was a great piece of advice. Thank you!

@@brodriguesco hah, love it. my other piece of advice - data.table! When you've got some huge files to deal with and a bit of extra spare time. There is barely any KZbin content on that package, but it's truly the killer app for R. I use it even for smaller data just to keep getting better at it. It's boss af.

@@JOHNSMITH-ve3rq Hey John. You should try and use dtplyr. It basically converts tidyverse syntax to data.table syntax, so you're typing tidyverse codes, but getting the speed of data.table
