I had a moment in TF2 about a year or two ago, I was joining a casual Dustbowl game, it was one of the later stages on last point, and the scoreboard showed a few players having over 100 points. But as soon as I was about to pick a class, I was getting votekicked for afk. The votekicker even said in vc “AFK”. Everyone was voting yes on it before I realised and I said “I just joined!” but the guy shouted back saying “You did nothing in 3 rounds!” After the votekick, I went and left him a -rep on his profile and he removed it not even an hour later and left a rant comment on my profile on how I was bad, and shouldn’t hog a valuable player slot for multiple rounds. I was getting really salty and kept placing the same rep until he eventually blocked me, then I deleted his comment on my profile. I’ve crossed with these kinds of people multiple times and they’re the worst imo. Kicking people because they’re bad, doesn’t matter how long they were in the server for or if the player is just goofing around. I know the user’s alias when that happened but idk if he has changed it now, but I do know that he claimed to be a popular player with trading (he did have a lot of valuable cosmetics) and TF2 content on YT but I never bothered to check his bio and links.

Suddenly, our heavy decided to be so salty with me when I was the only med using a quick-fix and ignored the fact that the team struggled to push through the defense without spies or distractions or not going as the 2nd med. He then tried voting me out more than twice and the vote passed. I helped them by healing them from the start to the last point and it was what I got as thanks. I do get frustrated with medics not giving me ubers when I am ready to help my team by pushing hard, but kicking them is never a thought on my mind because at least they're going as medics and healing the team.

Similar story happened to me. I was playing at a dead time (it was basically 5v5). We had a phlog Pyro who was basically the only person to Uber. There was an enemy Engineer. I ubered him in and he was killing the Engineer who was running, when our Uber ran out. He still hadn't destroyed the Sentry (it was only level 1) but we were also right next to it. Since the Sentry was shooting me, I stopped healing him to take care of it. In the few seconds I didn't heal him to destroy it, he somehow lost the duel with the Engineer and flamed me for it. He tried lecturing me saying I should "listen to more experienced medics." I asked him how many hours he had and he said over a hundred, then when I told him I'm a Medic main with over 300 hours, he said I was lying and that he actually had 350 hours. He left the game and gave me a -rep soon after, where he confirmed on my profile that I actually DID have 300+ hours on Medic. Didn't stop him from arguing that I "should've known better," though. I now wear his -rep paragraph complaint like a badge of honour.

At the same time I'm pumping arrows into the heavy as fast as I can. Eventually a couple of my team mates jump inbetween us, steals his arrows and he goes down. Nothing I could do. He starts bitching me out for being a shitty medic. Here's the funny thing. He was just standing still in that long sniper sightline after the first point, eating all the damage the enemy team could put into him. He never tried to dodge anything or get behind a wall for me to catch up to healing him. And I kept him alive waaaay longer than he had any right to be. So after telling him to go fuck himself, I get curious and look him up. IIRC he had like 500 hours and of course I had to laugh (for context, I have 10K). Didn't leave a comment, I don't see the point in it, but his name was something like Ottoman-something (was longer, but started with Otto). So if you are reading this Otto, once again.... go fuck yourself, and you've barred yourself from all future assistance. Oh, and I had 20K healing in that game I was so "shitty" in according to him. 0:44 this exact dude one day on dustbowl did the same thing and got votekicked in the end by me then proceded to message me about how bad i was while he was bottom scoring and bringed nothing to the team... there are a lot of specimens like this one on this game

There's a group of older fellas that play on Australian servers that kick anyone upon even the slightest suspicion of cheating, they just witchunt even if you are just good at the game.

I remember that I already got kicked TWICE right after entering the server, and both were because I was "afk with no points" despise that I literally had just joined

got a few days back 2 engies - one decent and other one noob. The decent one tried to vote him out (he didnt put sentry where the decent one wanted it to be). I immediately called it out and as i did he tried to persuade me by telling me what is wrong and we will lose because of him. After i just tell him no he MAKES ME DECIDE - either he leaves and we lose (because we need him apparently) or we kick him and win cause he is good. (he had 300 hours, i have 2000) i am not kicking a new player cause he is bad, because not only it is just casual, the casual is the place where you learn how to play the game, so you can get into ranked. Also if i wanted to tryhard i wouldnt pick caber-demo-knight or try to learn bow sniper.

Wow. A video not about bot hosters but a toxic player mad at everyone who “didn’t” uber him. LOL.

Like that one pyro trying to kick me, for being the only one protecting the objective but people being friendly around me being goofy regardless of their team. Thankfully my team knew me and allowed me to stay, unfortunatelly my team was made by noobs, that pyro was getting all the kills and I was the only one protecting their asses and stoping us from loosing. I do rather keep the silly shenanigans in between the other silly players because that shit was golden, it was a scooby doo skit man! (I was 3v1 by a scout, soldier and a demoman as a heavy I was pretty dead no ammount of hours and positioning would have saved me from 3 soft counters to heavy.)

I remember this happening to me, me and my group of friends were playing in twofort, and I found this funny demo attacking with a pan. So what I did was to do the rock, paper, scissors taunt, they immediately called me out and vote kicked me. Luckily, my group had my back, but I was soon kicked later. People like this ruin the game, and it honestly pisses me off

I got kicked before by someone because i wasnt pocketing him. I was fragging as medic, got double his score and we won that game before i was kicked. He also used the bot excuse so i can be kicked faster (this was when bots were still around)

Damn, this video reminded me about steamrep, which led me to finding out about its shutdown later this year. Really unfortunate loss.

Hey delfy, suggest Valve to fix the kunai viewmodel!!!! Its a very small fix, but it will do a lot for spy players, as the kunai handle will no longer clip through the suit. Thanks :)

Then im playing heavy, sometimes i realy want to yell into my mic. to our medic(s) that he should pocket me. (Im realy kind or a main pusher for my team). And yea, sometimes i do so. But even so i clearly understand what it is MY skillissue. IT IS I, who pushes whole enemy team alone. But sometimes... I just cant control my emotions.

I got kicked for "idling" by a max level, max tier player in casual once It was around the start of the match and I was already contributing to my team by picking off engineers and medics, and pushing the cart to the first point I wasn't sure if it was just a mistake since there was another player who was actually afk, but man these people gotta chill

Pyros with the phlog don't need ubers, as the Phlog's crits are essentially a free Kritzkrieg Uber He's truly having a skill issue if he doesn't realize Phlog Pyros are a lone wolf build (which is why half of the community dislikes them, even if they have a valid place within the game)

I few days ago I started on a match of Payload in Borneo, while we were waiting for more players to join the server to have a proper countdown, a teammate of mine decided to try and vote kick me for no reason even though I was active. During the match he tried to kick someone else then me again while we were defending last point. I asked him why and he just said "Cry about it" I said, " I'm more confused then upset". Never got an answer after that. I swear some people on the internet are just assholes 24/7, I come home from my cashier job at a gas station after a long day and want to enjoy some games. I don't need some shmuck trying to piss me off even more, all those that do can go fuck off. The funniest thing is I was at the top of the leader board because I was playing heavy/battalion's backup soldier. Trying to be the tank for the team.
