2:40 is really impressive. Those kind of beats are not just difficult for the drummer to keep track of, it's equally important for the bass and synth to keep time perfectly as to not screw it all up. So KUDOS!

You guys are really talented and have written some good arrangements of these songs. The thing about Dirty Loops, though, that makes me prefer them is that they seem to really enjoy what they do. They're constantly smiling and making faces at each other, and you can tell they're good friends and wouldn't want to be playing with anyone else. In your videos, very rarely do you look at each other or appear to enjoy your instrument. There's not very much feeling of community.

@@OMENGOT I slowed it down and counted. he is playing 6/4 over 4/4. The whole song is in quick shuffle rhythm so it confuses things even more but I think this is what's going on.

@@OMENGOT try to think that the "normal beat is divided into 4 16th all time (tap 16th and accentuate every first). then when the "tempo switch" is he just accentuates every 3rd 16th note (again try to hold the original tempo and tap 16th with accent all 3 16th). so to conclude he subdivides the beat into 3 instead of 4 16th notes, so he is not acctually switching the tempo :)
