Californian who ordered 2 free tickets to this event out of morbid curiosity. Got a 2-page instruction sheet texted to me this morning explaining rules for attending. Get there at least 3 hours early, get shuttled to the open-air field, bring a tiny bag, no food or drinks, though there would be food and drinks for purchase. Didn’t go. I wanted to be one of the many people walking out halfway through the idiot’s speech, but didn’t want to waste that much time on it.
