Multiple sections have that heavy quick impact. What I really love about the choreo is that (once again) they figure out how to use dance to echo lyrics and mood. It always feels like the music and dance are in a perpetual partnership...

The reason it's split like that is cause they broke into their 3 different subgroups. First was the vocal, second was the dance, third was the rappers. And it's not all the time but sometimes Han and Changbin don't dance as they rap, like with that moment.

one of the things i love about kpop in general is that it is an entire performance being created, the lyrics and the instrumentals create the dance, and the dance (often already half choreographed before the lyrics are finalized and recorded as seen in dozens of behind the scene footage videos) is created for their showcases upon release and for tours on stage and are of course highlighted into the music videos if created for the song. it is all created at the same time, some artists have even talked about storyboarding the music video alongside writing the lyrics in their solo works, it is just another level of brilliance when the entire creation all occurs together rather then individual add on to the song.

It's just pronounced "Jam." In JJAM (as in many of their songs) they used wordplay with similar-sounding words that have different meanings. JAM - as in jam out (dance / play hard) JAEM - Korean word for fun And then for the M/V, they ran with the wordplay and decided to use JAM, as in the sweet stuff you spread on toast, as their visual concept.
