@@sip_arizona there's so much wrong with this statement lol. the donda art predates the universal release- it was shown on apple music weeks before the release. the cover was later used on singles of hurricane and the life of the party. artists can and have changed art after release, if kanye wasnt happy with the cover he couldve changed it at any point.

@@SufyaanT it just no longer fitted with the themes of donda. when donda was first worked on in 2020, it had a psychedelic sound and focused on his mother and racism, covid and other struggles in america at the time. by the time of its release kanye shifted it to even darker themes like imprisonment (jail, jesus lord), violence (jonah, tell the vision, jesus lord) and his divorce (which wasnt a thing when he started work on the album) in songs like believe what i say and come to life

Whoever Kanye sings, he just sounds like an average Joe, but I feel like compared to most professional singers, he brings something that is soulful that makes up for any imperfections, and actually brings those imperfections into features of his style. Kind of like how auto tune can be used as a tools to make the voice more expressive and act almost like it’s own form of instrumentation
