Ollie Watkins is a good striker but not the pedigree of the striker that Arsenal want. £60m for a 29 yr old turning to 30 yr is a panic buy. For a squad player Watkins would be fine but not with ambition to win EPL and be the champions of Europe. We can add 10/20m and sign Victor Gyokeres, Benjamin Ses'ko or Victor Osimhen. Ollie Watkins can not make us better . Arsenal needs a prolific striker and Ollie is not one of them.

If I were Aston Villa, I would sell him in the summer. He could leave with the club's blessings and Villa could get a replacement at the same time. We need to just hang on this year and develop the squad even further with more experienced talent backing these young gems we have picked up recently.
