Donegal International Rally 2022 - PURE SOUNDS , Knockalla , Fanad , High Glen - Crash

Callum Devine and Matt Edwards had an all mighty battle throughout Day 1 and 2, the pair split by tenths of seconds at times! But on the Sundays first test, Gartan, Callum missed his braking into a bale chicane and barreled right through it, damaging his Polo R5 to the point of retirement!
This handed Donegal Rally rookie, Edwards, the lead. The following stage High Glen 1 was cancelled due to a bereavement on the stage and the third stage of the day was the epic Atlantic Drive test. This was Edwards first time into Atlantic drive competitively and it showed, as Matt and Liam left the road in their Citroen C3 R5, causing the cancellation of the stage, thankfully both crew are recovering well!
Suddenly Josh Moffett had found himself in the lead of the biggest rally in Europe! But he too was in a battle, with Alastair Fisher... the pair split by just 3.8 seconds after SS18 Gartan, with just 2 stages remaining, High Glen 2 and Atlantic Drive 2, both which were yet to be run competitively this year!
But Fisher fell victim to High Glen 2 and appeared at the stage end with a Puncture which dropped him down the field! Josh Moffett now had a commanding lead and only had to cautiously navigate Atlantic Drive to take his first ever Donegal International Rally victory. Declan Boyle drove like a man possessed and won the final stage, but Josh Moffett had done enough and took the win from his big brother Sam by 46.7 seconds, with welsh man Meirion Evans taking the 3rd step on the podium on his Donegal debut!

10/10 for the slow-mo of Baby Blue's Milly breathing fire. Somehow I haven't come across your channel before and I'm going to have to sub because of Frank (the mad fooker's) slow-mo, that's the only reason of course. Seriously though, great footage mate. One question, was anyone in the crowd not holding their phone in Portrait, I never spotted a single spectator filming in Landscape. The horror! Cheers from Australia. EDIT: Nice back catalogue of videos, and many I've not seen footage of before, plus you're a Sim Racer with excellent taste in rally games. 👍🙃
