Just before I get to my main point , I wish R.T.E stop interviewing managers ,during a match. I think Dublin took Donegal for granted that year , Dublin thought they just had to turn up that year. That Donegal team , was Superb and deserved to win Sam that year.

@@bathtownship mceniff won Ulster in 1990 and won both Ulster and an all Ireland in 1992. Mcguinness won Ulster in 2011 and 2012 both from the preliminaries and an all Ireland in 2012 after getting a far tougher draw than mceniff's in 1992. Mcguinness won Ulster again in 2014 and humiliated Dublin in the all Ireland semi final, one of the greatest Gaelic football teams of all time and only a gift goal prevented donegal from getting another Sam under mcguinness. Mcguinness' team acheived more than mceniff's team of the 1990s, competed against tougher opponents and got a more unfavourable fixture list. I think my opinion rests on rock solid foundations.

@@aisling010102 in the years Donegal won Sam they beat mayo in the 1992 semi and in the 2012 final as well. We were better than your team then. If it it makes you feel any better I hope mayo win Sam this year.
